It was a full day journey from Manali. Good to be there in the morning. Wear a good trekking shoes as the path is quite steep. But the view along the way and at the top is absolutely breathtaking. A 360 degree view of Kullu district. Enjoy a cup of hot tea and maggie before heading down.

Great to be there early morning.a general morning walk and you are at heaven view of Himachal Pradesh. in kullu district. You can have most wonderful experience in morning 🌄 sunrise time

I and my wife carried the trek on 8th March 2023. The trek is mesmerizing surrounded by deodar trees. Though the trek is little steep, but thevclimbing can be done easily in 2 hrs pn foot. At the top near the temple there r several tea stalls. The journey is really a life time memorable tour.

The journey up hill is an experience in itself. Midway we had to hire a off road bolero to reach up as the road was in a bad shape. Got a wonderful sincere local guide Mr Ajay jambhal 09816594011 who charged reasonably for his off road vehicle and took us to the base. From thete it was a 1km trek and we were at the temple. On the way back we visited his fields and were able to buy apples at very reasonable rates. If you plan please look him up. He is a genuine person and we were his first clients as he is a full time farmer

Apart from and first and foremost the holy darshan of Lord Bijali Mahadev 🙏 mesmerizing view once you reach on top. Trek is tough, steep and slippery at times. Wish a more ramp like uphill and downhill walk path could / would have been much easier to climb and come down rather than stairs. Stairs are uneven, ill maintained. Path is not at all friendly for any age group though, a No No for medically unfit, elders, children. Infrastructure need to be worked out big time.

It is a good place for tracking lovers. The story of the temple is also stunning. There are some camping sites on the top to stay at. The air you breathe there are no words to express it you also get a bird view around the mountain.

A full day journey from Manali by jeep or 4*4 Gypsy , via Naggar -jaina falls, expert driver is a must. One can feel the nature exactly near to his eyes.

I must say the surrounding environment were really beautiful and amazing. Temple is indeed awsome but the surrounding nature make it a gem. Must visit place I say.

We want to visit Bijli mahadev, manikaran and naggar castle. Should we stay on Naggar or kullu or manali? Can someone advise itinerary. Thanks

You should stay in Naggar castle,if budget is supported and take a 4*4 gypsy to bijli mahadev via jaina falls, spectacular views.But have to be careful beyond if rain and landfall,then there's problem. But if you could, that would be marvelous. Take a local person along with

I am not sure. During our visit in November it was cold, and your time would depend on snow fall as it hits 8000ft. With bad weather, it would not be a safe or fun hike.

Hey ! Its good to visit Bijli Mahadev while Trek but the thing is whether there will be snow on the way or not .Also , kids can be taken along but if they are big enough to walk through because the trek road is very leap .
Its all safe but there is just 1 shop on the way and rest on the Top of hill.

I can suggest that you can visit their in the afternoon so that you can take on rent from the shops over there.
Or else if you are on the too in the afternoon then easily you can check their that whether is it good to stay or not as now their is a chance of snowfall even so .

Small tents on rental or Temple dharamshala is there. It should be chilling in tents in winters.
