Given a red letter day so had lunch first at local pub. Good food though a set limited menu and disappointed that we had to also buy a drink?
Actual tour was very informative and interesting with lovely wines tasted at the end.

What an absolute treat this vineyard and winery is and would highly recommend the tour (followed by lunch at the White Hart Inn!) what we loved about this venture is that it's a really personable experience, and delivered by such a passionate individual in Simon.
Lovely warm welcome, fascinating walk around the vineyard, lots of really interesting information and Simon was so willing to interact and answer any weird and wonderful questions!! The talk in the winery and to see the equipment etc was really interesting, and it all concluded with an extremely lovely and generous tasting of several delicious and impressive wines, including sparkling.
This really is a Sussex special, would highly recommend to anyone of any age.... that likes a glass!

Fantastic tour! Tom clearly has a passion for his job, very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. Fabulous wines! highly recommend.

Very good tour with very knowledgeable guide, Simon knows his stuff

Just done the morning tour at Stopham, we enjoyed it immensely. Tom who led the tour was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a detailed insight into the life of a grape vine. It lasted approx 2 hours with the time split between the vineyard and the winery with the best bit, the tasting!! We tried the Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and their sparkling. All tasted Bootiful and different!! Lunch is at the White Hart which is in a lovely setting by the river. A grand day out and thoroughly recommended

The cellar door was a bit hard to find. It is where the map says, there just aren't any signs.
We sampled the 3 wines with Simon, the owner.
A nicer, more genuine chap would be hard to find.
The wines are excellent!

Really fascinating tour through this small vineyard, producing fantastic award winning wines on the south downs. Tour guide Tom walked us through the history of the vineyard, the challenges faced in this climate and location and the approach to producing wine at Stopham. Then we got to the tasting the wines. Perfect!Highly recommend the pinot gris. Lovely morning out on the south downs, with a really interesting tour guide, who was happy to answer any questions we had.

Excellent lunch at Stopham Bridge. Very interesting tour despite the heavy rain. Interesting tasting - so good we bought many bottles!!

The tour was very good, the tour guide clearly very knowledgeable about the wine making process and presented all the information clearly. The wines were all good and the tastings generous. The white wines were our favourites. Keep up the good work

Had a weekend in wonderful West Sussex. Walked from Fittleworth to Stopham Vineyard for a wine tour and tasting. Toured the vineyard with fantastic views across the Downs, and then wandered over to the barns for a great overview of the wine making process, from Simon... and then the tasting! The day was rounded off with a lovely two course meal at The White Hart, overlooking the 13th century bridge. Back at home we are currently drinking a glass of Stopham Pinot - nice. Do this tour - buy the wine - you'll love it.
