There are always a few rules to follow in order to take an establishment (or keep an establishment) above average in a category of greatness. A cardinal sin violated in recent years by Game Over is forgetting is recent years is who their base customers truly are. We are children of the 70s and 80s. That said, why on earth are classic arcade games being replaced more and more every year with simulated games, drivers, shooters and Guitar Hero? Yes, teens are drawn to the arcade. Yes, their parents will take them there. But the true people with buying power are the adults. Those who go there to relive their own childhoods. To watch sports, have a beer and some pizza, and relive their own childhood through games from the 80s and before? I notice a number of missing arcade games from years past. While I understand parts for these games are diffult to come by, and the people who maintenance said games are also, it is possible to find them. To call yourself a retro arcade in the same breath you're erasing your history will give your base customers pause. I'm surprised to see so few reviewers bringing up this fact. Casual arcade goers will be shaking their heads reading this, having no idea to what I'm referring. I am NO casual arcade goer. I was somebody who spent countless hours in arcades as a young man and truly appreciate what retro experiences can be. A reversal of time. You'd do well to realize the same. That said. I truly appreciate the fact that the bar required proof of vaccination to take my mask off in the bar. I know this has probably received some anger from customers who simply don't understand the safety this offers guys like me who want to take off their mask and have a beer there. Huge kudos to your staff for standing by this rule. I hope to see the arcade return to what it was in the early to mid 2000's. You have quite the charming place, and it could be even more, given the right touches. Thank you as always, for the apparel. I get a new shirt every time.

I totally understand your feelings about the classics, but we actually have a fairly equal distribution of games. 25% pinball, 25% classics, 25% new and 25% redemption. We only have so much space and do what we can to please the customers. One thing we do with our retro games that we can't with the new stuff is rotate machines. We have a ton of 80s and 90s games in our shop so we swap games out whenever something breaks or needs work. Next time you visit, the selection will likely be different!

Love this place! If you love pinball and old arcade games this place is for you! Probably more than 20 pinball machines and another 30 or so retro arcade games. Track and field, donkey kong, pac man, etc...

After COVID-19 it was awesome to see the changes here! The pizza is PHENOMENAL and even though we didn’t play games, it was a great comfort watching ppl experience a “normal” life and have fun. For these reasons...5 stars and a hearty THANK YOU for still being here!

so i just walked in just to drink a pitcher of beer and he wouldnt even sell me it he said house rules is u have to have 2 people to drink i, ok? now i literally walked in there a week ago and it was a different guy and sold me the pitcher just fine....

I'm sorry, but it is house rules. Whoever sold you a pitcher last time shouldn't have. The liquor commission has strict rules and tough consequences for businesses and employees that over-serve their customers and this is just one of the things we do to keep everyone safe and happy.

Very disappointed in the service and food. Went there tonight with my husband and son. My husband asked for a burger with an extra Patty, person at the counter “Joe” was just very rude and straight up said in a rude tone “we dont do that here”. We were surprised because usually when we ask for extra things in other places theres usually no problem we just pay a little extra. You would think they would want that sale. Then when we got our food, burgers were still cold. We didnt even bother complaining about it since we were already irritated at the way he responded when asking for an extra Patty. First time going there and we wont be going back.

Food is ok at best. But the arcade is 5 stars thumbs up. Anything and everything old and new , just wish they hadn't gotten rid of the Star Wars Game. Came here a few years back and seeing the sit down game from the late 80's brought back the old arcade days! Huge selection of pin ball if your a fan.

Thank you for coming in! We're glad you had a good time and enjoyed our selection of games. We still have the Star Wars cockpit, but it's in storage. It might make it back into the arcade again one day!

I have been here on my last 2 trips to Lincoln city. In July and again at the end of December. The food was mediocre but both times I had a lot of fun playing the wide variety of games, air hockey etc. they had to offer.

Great selection of games and women working counter was great!!!!! All the games were clean and working with the exception of one “Tapper”..... Newer Pinball games too!!!!

I love arcades and often find myself disapointed with the limited selection. I was surprised when I went to Game Over and they were one of the best arcades I've been to in awhile. They have a huge pinball selection, newer games and classics. The prices were much better than I've seen in a long time ranging from 50 cents to $1. I was worried it was going to be too focused on the bar aspect but it really wasn't. Will definitely come again when I'm in the area.

We were driving back to our hotel when I saw this place and we decided to stop and check it out. So glad we did. Fun place to spend a couple hours having a few brews and playing arcade games. Loved that they have a mix of old school games that I grew up playing and newer ones as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.
