This place is a hidden gem where you take a step back in time! Been around since 1937 I believe and they even sell older and newer movie posters. Love this place, just watched Black Stallion during summer and JoJo Rabbit today. Great variety of movies and now they serve wine, beer and hard ciders too! :-)

While exploring downtown Lincoln City, we noticed the Bijou and it reminded us of the old time theaters we went to as kids. We were interested in seeing the first run movie playing, so we included it in our plans. The senior price is the same or lower than other places, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Great popcorn, friendly staff, fun decorations and memorabilia. The seats were just as I remember them being (though I do like the recliners in modern theaters!) And everyone there was our age or older, which was kinda fun! :-) We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back.

This is a cute little theater on Highway 101 in Lincoln city. The owners greeted us and made us feel right at home. We got to watch a great movie in a comfortable little theater. It was like going back 50 years in time when I was a kid. Just loved it.

This is a 1937 beautifully restored old theatre that shows first run movies.
On Monday at 1:30 an organist plays for a half hour just like in the classic grand movie houses of the good old days.
The popcorn is excellent and the prices a deal.
Comfy seats and friendly people.

Have recently discovered this little gem and have been twice . It is a smaller 'mom and pop' theater but has been refurbished with clean, comfortable seating with legroom. The screen is average size with a good sound system. Their snack bar has the usual but you can actually get refills with the large buttered popcorn. The times we have gone there weren't many people and mostly an older crowd with the advantage being it was 'quiet' and no cell phones being used. Love this place.

Best buttered popcorn in town. Comfortable seating. Great small town venue. Modern sound and screen. Personal and intimate. Great place to watch a movie with your sweetie.

The Bijou is an old theater but is very nice place to watch a show. The owners give a personal introduction to the movies. There are some very comfortable seats in the back. The movies they show are the more interesting ones, not the big blockbusters. And at least once when we were there we had the opportunity to vote on the next movie to be shown there. It has a very nice hometown feel to it.
