I love the theater and it is fun to drag my husband to it. Worth the price of a ticket to support these little community theaters and we always have fun.

To name a few of the shows we've seen (and we've seen a lot more than these): Arsenic And Old Lace (1988), Mr. A's Amazing Maze Plays (1998), Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap (2015), Where There's A Will, There's A Relative (2016), and The Odd Couple - male version (2017).

We've always managed getting front row seats; the stage is approx. 15 feet from the front row.
Small, intimate interior: Approx 10 rows that seat 60-70. Snacks sold.
Parking is limited; good to carpool.
Not a Broadway show; but certainly fun & features local performers.
Cost is reasonable - $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for students and also for seniors 60+and $10.00 for ages 0-12.
Shows run TH - some on Sunday...best to check their website or call them.

NOTE: RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED & MUST BE MADE BY PHONE.

Enjoyed an impromptu afternoon production of fine talent and engaging theater. Actors came into crowd at end to thank people for coming and to wish us each a Merry Christmas. The posters suggest they've done lots of good comedies. I'll plan to attend again.

Fun little theatre, quality shows. Went to see Barefoot in the park. Everyone is friendly and the calibre of actors is very good. Small place..holds about 60 people so best to order tickets ahead. Good value for the price.

We enjoy community theatre, and it's fun to attend as tourists, as the venue and faces are new to us. Reservations at Theatre West could not be made on line, but by phone only. However, we were not required to provide payment until we arrived, which was surprising. The person who took our reservation was very gracious, and we had front-row seats. Saw "Jake's Women" by Neil Simon. Enjoyed the intimate setting (seats about 70 on padded pews), especially as this particular production broke the fourth wall throughout. At nearly 3 hours, it was longer than most, but it didn't seem so. With so much dialogue, there were understandably a few fumbled lines, but not distracting (and isn't that one of the fun things about community theatre?). These folks put on an outstanding performance and received a well-deserved standing ovation. Tickets for us seniors were $13 and well worth it. Parking appeared to be a bit limited, so we arrived early, and were glad we did. If we're lucky enough that our next visit to Lincoln City coincides with another Theatre West production, we'll plan to check it out again. As an aside, several months previous to this visit, we attended community theatre down the road in Newport, and enjoyed it as well.

If you are in the mood for somewhat tongue-in-cheek entertainment and
can't get enough live Theatre, you're in for a treat with Theatre West's
new summer production, Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap... I promise!
The Mousetrap boasts a sometimes colorful, always entertaining cast
of characters...Mollie Ralston and husband Giles Ralston, their paying
guests Christopher Wren, Mrs.Boyle, Major Metcalf, Miss Casewell,
and Mr. Paravacini, rounding out the cast with skiing Detective
Sergeant Trotter. The amusing little play (circa late 40s-early 50s
setting) begins as The Ralston's welcome guests to their new boarding
house during a snowstorm. Acted on a wonderfully charming, vintage-
style stage set... I had the good fortune of assisting its builder, a stage
designing wizard.
I also experienced the fun and challenge of finding and creating vintage
props neccessary to the authenticity we were all attempting to recreate.
(Personally, I'd like to have veganized this little play too!) Rehearsals
were interesting but nothing near as real and intriquing as actors in full
costume performing for an eager and waiting-to-be-entertained, paying
audience. If you haven't already seen The Mousetrap, this engaging bit
of mystery and light humor will be playing through the 29th of August
with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:pm,and
Sunday matinees at 2:pm on July19th and August 9th. Already seen
the play but want to see it again with family or friends? Sssh, don't
say a word... to le Mystère! -ahm

$10 for Seniors and $12 for General Admission. Looking for something to do after the sun goes down at the beach? Why not seeing a play after dinner? Based on price and location, please don't come with your Broadway expectations. These are hard working local actors who perform 3 nights a week to entertain beach goers and local residents. We saw Murder Is A Game. There were laughs throughout the performance. This family-friendly play brought laughter to a 13 year old to my right and a 73 year old to my left. Parking is a little daunting and they close the theatre doors sharply at 8pm - so arrive early and don't be late.

For a small town this is a nice place to catch a play, if there is a play going on when I am in town I always go, always fun and very informal.

A friend and I attended the Theater West production of "Sin, Sex and the CIA" last night in Lincoln City. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this community theater. Reserved seat prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for children.

The major drawback was not enough parking at the the theater; a number of brave souls had to park across Highway 101 and dodge the traffic to get to the theater. The other drawback was the theater was extremely warm and uncomfortable.

We highly recommend the Theater West to anyone looking for an evening of entertainment in Lincoln City. It's cheaper than gambling and tons more fun. We will definitely attend future productions when we are in Lincoln City.

To all the local talent at Theater West: "Break a leg!"
