I had a lovely and relaxing experience at the Spa at the Hotel Hershey. The staff who I interacted with during my visit were exceptionally kind and wonderful, making me feel well cared for. The facilities were beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed all of the spa services I received and felt they were overall of high quality. On minor critique I have is that while my hair stylist was personable, warm, and performed a good cut, I felt that she lacked experienced in styling and using appropriate moisturizing hair products for textured or low porosity hair. I left my appointment with no definition to my curls and a head full of big, frizzy hair---an experience all too familiar for us ladies with textured hair when we aren't at a salon with stylists experienced with caring for textured hair. Fortunately, once washing my hair at home and styling appropriately the cut appeared well done.

My good of 3 girls spent nearly hours in the Spa and it was Heavenly... From the lunch, to the massages, and the pedicures we all loved our day in the spa. Lots of rooms to relax and lots of chocolate everywhere.

Fantastic service in a relaxing, varied environment! We booked 2 massages during our stay. We always book them 2 hrs apt so we can use the lavender scented room, the quiet/silent rooms, the steam rooms and the Oasis area (our fave). There are lovely locker rooms, comfy robes, snacks, drinks all in a clean, plush environment. My husband loved his masseuse Jen and I had Matt, who did deep work, targeting all my knots...loved it! The weather was so pleasant that we enjoyed our snacks outside on the soft sofas! You can book a lunch in the Oasis, while eating and drinking Mimosas in your robe. Steep at around 30 bucks a head. We didn't eat there but it looked like fairly lite fare. I saw 1 sliced beef dish, lots of salads and several desserts. Alcohol is extra. Overall, we truly enjoy a 1/2 day at the Spa, then head to the pool! Treat yourself to these, lush, high end services.

The Spa provided a nice relaxing experience. From the steam room, quiet room and massage, it was a great experience that relaxed and revitalized.
I strongly recommend the lomi-lomi massage. It was the first I had experienced and it was excellent.
I recommend getting there one hour ahead of time and enjoying the steam room and taking some time for quiet sitting in the quiet room.

Such a great experience! Our annual friends "whis turning 50 this year" weekend was a success!Check-in was flawless. Autumn was our spa guide who told us about the amenities and walked us around the different rooms. Heidi was my masseuse for a 50 min cocoa massage... absolutely perfect! We discussed problem areas before hand and she was excellent. I should have booked the 80 min because it was over too quickly! Drinks in the Oasis with the rest of the group was comfortable and a perfect cap to the spa day. We will be back!

It was a nice visit to the Spa. The hostess was very nice, and the Cocoa Massage was very nice. The Whipped Cocoa Bath was really not worth it. In my opinion they have too much down time in-between treatments. And the quiet room is not very quiet, there were a lot of groups that were looking for each other so everyone kept opening the door. Maybe the Spa can figure out a way to give the groups a meeting up space so the peace is not being disturbed.

I am a chocolate spa club member and have been on and off since they started this option. It’s expensive, and in some years not worth the cost. Covid has really affected availability of techs and services so something as simply as a monthly hair cut and color becomes nearly impossible to schedule. Oasis for lunch has always been one of my favorite amenities at the spa and that is hardly available also.

I brought my daughter here so we could enjoy some R&R and to celebrate her graduation. Upon arrival, we were rushed(!) into our milk and honey soaks, which were timed 15 minutes. We're not certain when the clock actually started running on the baths, but we did not get 15 full minutes in the tub. Also, my daughter's attendant simply opened the curtain to check in with her instead of knocking or calling out to her first. We then both received messages, which were fantastic. I had Suzanne for my message and she was great! My daughter later received a facial, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
What was most disconcerting about our visit was that guests were not required to wear masks in common areas. Neither did we notice at any time during our stay (approx. 5 hours) that common surfaces were ever cleaned (although refreshments were regularly checked by masked employees). Very disappointing overall.

This was absolutely the most amazing spa day I’ve had. I went with two friends and we are all of the same opinion. We had whipped cocoa baths- the bath tubs are wonderfully designed to continually have warm water flowing in. I had a coffee body polish- they therapist was wonderful. Then a massage with Tristen- amazing. Then a chocolate hydrating body wrap- Zoi massaged by feet during the wrap- wow- probably the most amazing part of my day. I ended with a facial with Toni. I get facials regularly at home and she far exceeded my expectations. The ambiance of the spa is incredible. We really enjoyed the infusion room. The goodies were great- muffins, hot cocoa, coffee, tea. Everyone is so kind. I’m a Midwest girl that can’t wait to go back!! I’ve turned my friends into spa destination enthusiasts!! Definitely a great girls trip- there were a few out of place, uncomfortable looking guys there…..

I had an 80 minute traditional massage scheduled. I was greeted on time by Brennan. We chatted for a minute and then he started the massage. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. By the time it was over, I was like putty. I would highly recommend Brennan. I know I will request him in the future.
I then had an anti aging facial. This was the second time for this facial. The first, about six weeks ago was with Christy. It was wonderful. She was caring, explained everything and her touch was wonderful. This time I had Kay.
She greeted me a few minutes late and then when taken to the room, left me for a good 5-8minutes. She did not explain anything and her touch was rougher. She went through the motions with not much care, it was a job to do
I will now ask for Brennan and Christy on my next visit.

The Spa lunch only offers one soup, which is the only hot lunch choice. The past several times I have visited, I haven't liked the soup that was on the bar (as it was spicy). Why can't they offer at least 2 choices? Many of my friends feel the same way that I do. I asked I could have a different soup, and I was told that another soup would not be available until 4:00. So I was very disappointed with the cold lunch.

I have asked the spa the same question about the soup and other menu items. Their answer was that “they wanted to offer a lighter menu.” I think it has to do with cutting corners. I won’t go there again.

The oil/scent that was already in the inhalation room was jasmine. It was really nice and relaxing. I can't wait to go back!

My BFF and I wouldon't like 2 do the 3 day chocolate spa package. Can you give me room or suite prices. I can't find your rates or tyes of rooms or suites you have to offer. I'd also like to get photos of rooms or suites. Thank you

Go to: THE HOTEL HERSHEY website - there are plenty of pics of the rooms/property. I would then call the hotel directly and see if there are any better deals available. Good luck! You will love it there. It's super nice in the summer because the grounds and hiking trails are so beautiful (and you can use the outdoor pools then too).

I would contact the Hershey Spa and ask to speak to the manager. The toll free number is 877-772-9988, or you could email them by looking at the Chocolate Spa website to get the email address.
