What I really enjoyed about this tour is that it was not about Hershey Park but about the town of Hershey. We learned and saw how the town was formed and how Hershey transformed it into one of the most modern towns of its time.
The tour visits the downtown area, the original housing, the original Hershey buildings, and the amazing school that Hershey built to give children of all socioeconomic classes and opportunity to succeed.
Our guides talked Non-Stop and this was well worth the time and the money!

We did the christmas trolley tour. It was fun for my son and we enjoyed it as well. Highly recommended.

We have been to Hershey many times but this was our first Trolley tour. Our tour guide was excellent. Brian L. was a retired history teacher and gave us a wealth of information on the town, and history of Hershey. Our kids were engaged and they enjoyed the random Hershey kisses sprinkled through out the trip. Well worth the tour for most age groups.

Absolutely loved this trolley tour! Booked it last minute and so glad we did, there were four of us and my daughters are older teens and loved it as well. So fun and energetic, our conductors were fun and engaging and overall was just a really fun tour and really cool to learn about Hershey Park and the history behind it all. Oh and they hand out free chocolate--an added bonus!

Our 5:20pm trolley broke down as soon as we started the tour. Sat on a very hot trolley for 10-15 before we were bused back to Chocolate World. I know things like this can happen, but they did not put us on another trolley or even apologize. Drove 2 hours and waited all day for this. Very disappointing. Not even a chocolate bar for our troubles. Awful customer service!

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Dirk was giving the tour, and he was very knowledgeable of all of the sites and places all around Hershey. It is impossible to get bored, and was a very educational and fun experience.

Took the historic trolley tour in hershey. A little over one hour. Wxcellent tour guide with very interesting information about Milton Hershey and the town.

Our tour with Steve was excellent. We weren’t sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised with how much interesting information we needed to learn about the town and especially Milton Hershey. Steve kept it interesting without being campy. Highly recommended, especially if you’re not familiar with the history of Mr. Hershey.

Great, informative tour of the entire town mr Hershey built. So much he did to give back, truly an inspiration. Might be a tad boring for little ones, but our 4 yr old occupied herself just fine

Do people leave a tip at the end of the tour? We usually tip at the end of an excursion in the Caribbean.

If your tour guide is exceptional, a tip is appreciated.we had a wonderful young lady who was home from college and was very informative and cheerful. We did give her a tip.
What time do you open and how much is it?

You need to make a reservation (most likely a day ahead). Otherwise, they may only have a spot on the same day at a time that is truly inconvenient for you. Call them for reservations....

Where do we get tickets for the trolley trips?

I purchased my tickets online, but you can get them right inside the Hershery Park building. As soon as you enter the doors it is on the right inside the lobby. It was a great tour. Not sure about the running schedule, but you can call there.

Are there restrooms on the trolleys?

There are not restrooms on the trolley. However we start and end near the front doors of Hershey's Chocolate World, and the restrooms are right inside the door.

Chocolate & History Trolleys run about 70 minutes. Our seasonal trolleys are shorter (Summer Trolley Show, Trick or Treat Trolley, Holly Jolly Trolley), usually running about 45 minutes. Holly Jolly is actually a bit shorter than that yet.
