Took part in a meet the animals session with 16 year old animal loving daughter.
We were welcomed by Jo, who was absolutely brilliant.
There was a packed session which included meeting and feeding the goats, meeting and feeding the reindeer and then holding Stella the snake, along with slow worms,
a ferret, a hedgehog, stroking an
Iguana and then handling a barn owl. I thought perhaps we would get to meet a few of the animals and didn’t realise how much would get packed into the session.
Jo made sure everyone got a turn and answered everyone’s questions.
After the session, you are free to walk around the centre and see the other animals and we were there to watch Jo feeding the meerkats and porcupines so that was a bonus.
The session cost £30 for adults and £5 for spectators / entry to the centre which I think was a really good price for such a lovely experience.

Having been gifted an adoption package for Glen, the cheeky barn owl we were able to feed and fly him and Dottie and Sebastian under the supervision of Joanna Griffiths. The owls were beyond cute and adorable, and having a wonderfully talented keeper like Joanna you can see why. The centre is well run and the staff very knowledgeable, would highly recommend a trip there and more importantly adopt one of the animals. A special thank you to Joanna you were amazing

I took my daughter to do the keepers morning, fox feeding, owl experience and badger watching yesterday. Each experience well exceeded my expectations - the staff were friendly, informative and also discreet (I didn’t tell my daughter about where we were going or what we were doing so each individual experience was a surprise for her and they helped keep it a secret)
We got far more interaction with the animals than I expected and I would (and will) do it all again (as will my daughter, she was absolutely over the moon)
If you are looking for something a bit different and have kids or an adult who loves animals then I cannot recommend these experiences enough - they also do others that we couldn’t fit into one day - there was a photography workshop going on and they got to photograph the animals close up, including owls flying) so take a look and just do it - the prices are great value for what you get and to be frank, price wise, the 4 we did worked out cheaper that just one experience elsewhere.
I cannot praise this place enough - we had an incredible day and look forward to repeating the experiences again (though probably not all on the same day next time)

We visited the farm during the day and enjoyed looking at their animals, birds and reptiles. The bird display was a wonderful. Two of my boys enjoyed holding an owl, as did I. We also went on the nature walk which we all absolutely loved, we saw slow worms galore, which I’ve never seen up close before, millions of ants, snails, a rat and smaller rodents, possibly a shrew. The staff were all really knowledgeable and friendly.
One evening we booked badger watching, I was taking four children (aged between 14-8 but they are all usually rather noisy). The experience is in a comfortable environment which is warm and cosy. The kids enjoyed a film on tv whilst having hot chocolates as we waited, and once a badger showed they were silent. We saw a badger so close we could hear it eating, it was a wonderful experience, one the children and I will all remember. Extra special thanks to Will who gave us some useful hints and tips. Thank you so much!

We were very disappointed in the fact that it was quite small. Much like the size of a small farmyard. Animals, those who were out , could be seen easily and looked well cared. The education centre where they did a chat about some of the reptiles from their collection. The young lady was very good, patient and made sure everyone who wanted to , could hold the Corn Snake and touch the python and African Bull Frog. My Grandsons really enjoyed this activity. She was also doing everything on her own that day. Even though she was super busy , she made sure to answer any questions , and did so in a helpful, friendly manner.

Thank you.for noticing the care that goes into the keeping of our animals, we know that we aren't the biggest of places, but we all have to start somewhere. Our entrance fee is priced to reflect that and we do hope to eventually get a little bigger but these things take time.

We stayed on site at Gwel An Mor and decided to have a farm day; we started with the ‘forest breakfast’ where we were provided local bacon and eggs fresh from the chickens at the farm and 3 fires to cook on ourselves - everyone had fun making their own breakfast and it was delicious (if not a tad burnt in places).
We then went on to the animal encounters where we met and fed the goats, reindeer, reptiles, ferrets and owls. Jo looked after us and took us round all the animals and was brilliant with everyone young and old, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the animals.
The animals and reptiles were all fascinating and being allowed to hold them was such a great experience for the kids (and adults tbh).
We then went on to feed Ruby the fox; both enrichment and direct feeding (safely).
After this we attended the bird show where owls and hawks swooped through the crowds (included in entry price).
A note, this is a small farm; but base camp (next door) has a phenomenal soft play and cafe; and the farm does plenty of scheduled ‘meet the animals’ and wildlife walks that make it easy to spend a bit more time here.
I’d recommend booking the experiences though; you get so much more from the direct experience and knowledge of the keepers.

We went to Feadon Farm today at only £5 per person entry for something to entertain the children this summer holidays. We enjoyed looking at all the animals from guinea pigs to porcupines. We especially enjoyed the three talks we had today given by Sarah-Jane who was fantastic - super knowledgeable and clearly a very hard worker she made the day. We held snakes, stroked an owl and watch meerkats being fed. We saw a fox and goats and of course the famous reindeers. Such a little gem of a place that doesn’t break the bank and is perfect for animals lovers big and small. My children loved Sebastian the Owl as he was very vocal and flew very fast.

Feadon Farm is a jewel in the Cornish crown. We visited twice during our holiday week, once for an amazing Reptile talk and Birds of Prey demonstration by the fabulous Emily whose patience with adults and children alike was outstanding. The second time was for a fabulous Badger Watching eve in a very comfortable purpose built cabin which was worth every penny. Brilliantly guided by expert Will we were equipped with popcorn and hot drinks and saw badgers just behind our glass screen. It really was wonderful and we will definitely return.

We had the most wonderful time at Feadon. As well as the incredible animal talks and bird display by Emily and Jo who were so knowledgeable and fantastic with the crowd, including some children who were nervous with the reptiles, we saw the many animals, from pythons to meerkats to the porcupine! Our highlight however was the badger watch we did on Friday evening- we sat in the lovely cosy cabin and enjoyed the snacks and Netflix on offer. We then had a magical experience as we watched the badgers come out to feed, coming right up the window to lick off the peanut butter cleverly placed there by the Staff. Special thanks to Will who organised this and gave us advice on how to approach the badger watch. Cannot recommend enough, definitely worth a visit to the wildlife park, and the badger watch is definitely worth it.

Feadon Farm is activity based and is not a day visitor attraction so you would need to book an activity.
These range from meet the animals, to night walks, badger watch, rock pooling, wild life experience, Gruffalo ( you have the story and meet all the real animals, and Falconry.
These are priced at £8 for children and £12 for adults, you have to book and pay in advance, call 01209 842354.
These activities are between one and a half and two hours long and completed in groups of around a dozen people normally.
Im sure you will have an amazing time, where else can you kiss a fox!

Hallo...mich würde interessieren wie das von statten geht.
Man ruft vorher an und reserviert eine Begehung?
Wie ist das wenn die Kinder kein Englisch verstehen? Ist es dann trotzdem interessant für sie?
Was kostet das dann? ( Steht leider nicht auf der Website!)
und kann man das auch buchen, wenn man nicht in dem dazugehörigen Hotel übernachtet?

I would not think so I know the lodges are pet friendly but not sure about the farm is did not see any whilst round the farm
