The Trust Performing Arts Center is a great place to enjoy wonderful music, lectures and art. It's Grand Hall is breath-taking and it's intimacy, only about 300 seats, makes for a great experience.You feel like you are on stage with the performers. The Trust can hold its own with all of the other theaters in downtown Lancaster.

Formerly a bank, this gem of a performance hall has a wonderful, intimate atmosphere with decent acoustics to boot...especially for genres such as the acapella vocal group, string quartet, etc. A bit "boomy" for everything...what can you expect with stone and marble throughout?...but highly satisfying, nonetheless. And the programming is varied, from lectures, to monologues to virtuosic musical presentations. A unique treasure for the city.

We went to see and hear Servant Stage, a small choral ensemble dedicated to delivering a beautiful as well as inspirational experience of Christmas music. Mostly local but very professional musical and theatrical talent with a few really fine vocalists delivering a memorable Christmas concert that left us moved by its quality, smiling because it was fun and inspirational because you could feel the vocalists dedication to their Christmas spirit in this intimate a stunning setting.
The acoustics were great and for once in a very long time in a theater, I could hear the lyrics. Servant did not over arrange the music and the vocalists did not torture the notes to the point where the baseline of well known music could not heard and appreciated for its historical beauty.
A great venue and a wonderful and inspirational evening of Christmas music.

The small shows put on there are so upfront and personal. Definitely do not miss this experience! And the building itself is a work of art!
