I passed by and witnessed this beauty. Only 1 view so I joined in. I wish we could walk across it but it seemed private to me. I wasn’t sure if it was safe. We just pulled over across the street and admired it as I read the only review to my family in the car. Wow created with materials from a previous bridge.

Wooden Covered Bridge

Also called Willow Hill Covered Bridge. Not one of the 1800s covered bridges that dot the Lancaster County landscape. This was built in 1962 using wood from other covered bridges in the area. Still worth stopping to view. It’s visible from Rte 30 (Lincoln Highway), but there is ample parking at the American Music Theatre. It’s not open to vehicular traffic so it’s safe to walk across without having the worry about cars wanting to drive over. You might also see animals from the Amish Farm and House, which is behind the bridge.
