Clean, well staffed. Lots of information, like a museum. Items for sale also. No dedicated parking lot.

In Lancaster is ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid om daarna wat door de stad rond te dwalen. Ik vond het niet echt bijzonder en geef de voorkeur aan het landleven buiten lancaster.

I lived in West side of city.
We had guns and shootings every week bad area to be in glad we left.
Dont recommend any air bnb in that location within the city to anyone.

The Market was closed, so I wanted to ask what else can we do. There was only one girl working, servicing other people, so I got out after wasting five minutes staying there. They are probably very good, couldn't prove it this time.

My family and I came to Lancaster for a ghost tour. We met in Penn Square and I was surprised at the amount of drug addicts and homeless people in the area. I understand most downtown areas have a homeless population but these young homeless people were antagonizing people and a few were following us around. There were also many drug deals going on in the area and people urinating in the stairwells. I did fear for our safety. I would suggest that the tour guides stay away from that area.

The Center is across the alley from the Central Market downtown. We were looking for a guidebook with coupons, but they didn't have one. This Center is not affiliated with the much larger and more helpful Center at Hwy 30 and Greenfield Rd.

Thank you for your review. Apologies, we didn't have what you were looking for. We have plenty of maps, brochures, and our staff are ready to offer recommendations, but we are a small, City-run visitor center, so we do not have paid partners that offer coupons like larger centers. We wish you the best in your travels!

Ci sono stato di Domenica mattina in piena stagione turistica estiva ed era chiuso. È mia opinione che un Visitor Center non debba chiudere ma essere aperto sette giorni su sette, anche con un eventuale orario ridotto nei giorni festivi.

The woman who was there answered my general questions about Lancaster.
She told me there was a guided tour in two hours; I chose a self guided tour which was excellent.
Take the time to see this city. There is a lot embedded here.

I received great information here to see where all I needed or wanted to go to in order to see Amish country. I received maps and great advice from the welcome greeter also.

Inside this quaint office, there is also small room with a short video of the history of Lancaster. The lady had such helpful information not only on the downtown offerings, or places to eat, but also accommodated our broader questions by looking up the answers on her computer. It was a very nice gesture which was beyond her job description, but nevertheless much appreciated.

We are travelling by train from Glasgow and have a 2 hour wait in Lancaster which we are happy about.
I am enquiring if there is any where we can leave our luggage whilst we have an explore.
