If you are in Pittsburgh on a Sunday, highly recommend a tour of Heinz Chapel on Pitt campus. They have a beautiful non denominational compline service at 8PM. Candlelight and music - beautiful!

When you step into this beautiful chapel, you may feel as if you've been transported to thirteenth-century France. The architecture and wonderful stained glass windows are uplifting. Come for the Sunday evening Service of Compline, to experience the peace and calm of the music and the space.

If you didn't know better you might think you were in a medieval French church. You aren't.
The Heinz Memorial Chapel is the college chapel at the University of Pittsburgh.
No admission is charged. Upon entry, a small brochure with a brief overview of the chapel's history and architecture was provided free of charge. It included a guide to the stunning stained-glass windows.
Depending on your interest in architecture and churches, you could easily spend an hour here looking at everything.
It would be nice if they offered visitors the ability to access the organ loft or some sort of behind the scenes tour with a guide even if there was a charge.

The chapel is located on the UP campus across from the Cathedral of Learning. When I went, someone was playing the pipe organ. The stain glass has amazing detail and characters in American History. The biggest challenge is finding parking. You have to find a spot with a meter.

We were lucky enough to attend a wedding here. Rivals European cathedrals in its grandeur. Try to catch a peak.

This place was so beautiful - especially the stained glass. Alle the windows had the same colour variation, but the motifs were different. When we visited someone was playing the organ which gave a mezmerising experience.

Located by the Cathedral of learning the Heinz memorial chapel is another fantastic work of art. Very beautiful and you must do a walk around.

This chapel is a must see if you are in the University of Pittsburgh area. It’s very close to the campus. Please go on the days it is open because it’s beauty is breathtaking.

Charles Connick is the famed American stained glass artist who has designed rose stained glass windows around the US, Heinz Chapel being one of the best. As to "distribution", not sure what this means.
