The Tom Sturgis Pretzels Factory Store seems to be the only place I can find my favorite Sturgis pretzel, the hot cheesers, so every time we are in the area, I run in for a couple of bags. This time to my surprise, the free samples were back after about a 2 1/4 year absence. As usual, when the samples are out, I tend to buy more product.

Every time we are in the area we stock up on pretzels. Great variety of pretzels...everyone in our family has a couple of different favorites. Worth a stop!

Though Utz makes my favorite pretzel, Sturgis makes a good one and the 2 items I come back for every time I'm in town, no one else makes, the Hot Cheeser. It has a kick with the right amount of heat and salt. The other is the Wilbur Buds dark chocolate covered pretzel. Bring back the free samples, this is how I discovered these 2 items.

Dropped in for one of my favorites, the hot cheesers pretzels that were only $1.10 a bag. Due to Covid, we missed being able to sample all the various products. Hopefully, things will be back to normal quickly.

Bought 3 bags of pretzels in store. When I got home opened two of the bags. The pretzels in the bag were Burnt on the bottom. Very inedible . Threw them out.
Never noticed the color on the bottom of pretzels because of the way they were placed in bag. I would not recommend buying from this store.

Great place to stock up on pretzels (and other fun stuff) if you're in the area (or even want to take a little trip). Very friendly staff, great prices and variety!

"My wife was like a kid in a candy shop but with pretzels instead! If you like pretzels (even if you don't), this is a MUST see! With flavors from your basic pretzel to spicy delights, you have the ability to taste all products before deciding to purchase. The store staff were delightful and helpful. Tom Sturgis pretzels remain our favorite. Look for the BIG pretzel.

We didn’t get to go through the tour but the shop had a lot of things to pick from. Interesting old pictures on walls explaining their history. Wasn’t what I was expecting when we got there.

Well-organized shop full of delights, including samples of numerous products. Very friendly, conversational staff. Sells souvenirs such as logo T-shirts as well. Photo ops include a large pretzel on the parking lot. Sale selections were well-priced. No tour due to size/layout of facility -- but knowledgeable staff can answer questions. Very close to Shippensburg Best Western. Opens early M-Sat, 8:30 AM (convenient).
