Come with time to spend sitting in all of the lovely spaces to view the plants. Truly beautiful spaces and not crowded at all. Parking costa just $1 per hour in the lot next to the law school and the Creamery is just a short walk away for a cool treat.

Beautifully created with walkways and informational placards to help us learn. Best part was the sun dial and the children's interactive experiences.

Hideous construction of a building blocks off access to the arboretum and ruins the outdoor feel it once had. The building looks like the architects had a meeting and decided to build a prison next to the Arboretum that’ll be multi stories high so that it covers the Arboretum plants with lots of shade. The building will be tope and government gray as to Match the depressing gray skies of Pennsylvania. Are used to love the Arboretum at Penn State and now this hideous building is directly on top of it. I will never ever go back. what a colossal disappointment.

Our kids absolutely loved the children's garden, which is one of the best that we've seen in the US. Definitely worth a quick stop if you have young ones!

Our daughter and granddaughters had stopped here a week earlier and suggested we check it out when we came. I knew there was one but was surprised by the extent it was developed. We had a lovely time (even in the humid weather) walking around......it was so peaceful and so much fun to see the busy bees on the flowers, as well as butterflies, flitting everywhere. It was amazing and recommend everyone take a moment to take a walk through.

This is a nice place to walk around and enjoy all the beautiful scenery to unwind. Lots of great places for photos. I like that all the trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses are named with their own plaques-makes things easier. This time we found parking to be a little challenging since a new museum building is being built right beside the arboretum. We have only been there one other time and the parking lot we used before is now closed/blocked off. I was confused about where to park and if/how to pay.

The Arboretum has to be one of my favorite parts of the campus. Always enjoy walking around the path and love the relaxing/zen places. Love the bat cave, yet I am always scared to go thru it. I just feel so relaxed when I walk thru the path and really enjoy seeing all the birds and wildlife.

Who doesn't like flowers? Our garden club toured the Arboretum on Friday, October 8, 2021. Our guide was a lovely volunteer whose knowledge of the area was outstanding! These gardens were spectacular. This is even a great place for children!! A special section of th Arboretum is dedicated to hands on activities for young ones. A new pollinator friendly garden was added this year. Also a great place to have a leisurely stroll among nature and it's wonders.

Beautiful waking track, various gardens. Free to visit, parking is extra. Restrooms on site. Perfect place for a picnic!
