I love this riding school. The staff and regulars are all so friendly, approachable and cheerful. You can tell it's a happy place and the horses are all beautifully cared for. I notice that one previous guy complained of being taught on a hack - I thought this was strange as I hate not being taught on a hack! Maybe he wanted a trekking centre - this is definitely not one of those. I always come away from my lessons and hacks buzzing with enthusiasm with new ideas of how to improve my skills as I am lucky enough to own my own horse. I travel over an hour to get to Hot to Trot as I think Hannah is the best teacher I've ever had - and at 53, I've had many - most of whom have made me think I've been doing it all wrong for years - not so Hannah - she's great at building confidence and has made a huge difference to my riding.

I was in Norfolk/Suffolk briefly and found out about this riding school and boy was I gutted! When I arrived the staff looked very miserable and certainly showed it:- If I acted like that in my job I've got a decent beating. During the hack I was lectured which knocked my confidence down because a hack is supposed to be unwinding and enjoyable:- I understand being given tips and advice but not to be treated like an exam and being told off for getting it wrong. All this overwhelmed me I forgot why I was there in the first place, it might've well been a lesson. Can't say I'm impressed but let's jump to the conclusion:- it'll be my first and final visit.

Hannah and the team have been facilitating my training for BHS Stage 1 over the last couple of months. Their dedication towards helping me achieve my goal has been commendable. The result of which came through today, I passed with distinction! This grade is testament to the level of tuition given to me, both on and off the manège. For individuals looking to improve their riding ability, complete the BHS Stage 1; moreover use Hot to Trott School of Equitation to train for it.

My daughter went today for pony club and throughly enjoyed it. When I picked her up she had a huge smile on her face and could not stop talking about her time there. She loved the riding and all the fun activities. A big thank you to all staff

After a LONG break from riding I decided to get back in the saddle. So glad that I chose to go to sue and Hannah. Made to feel welcome from the beginning.
The horses and ponies are of an excellent standard, fit and well looked after, not your normal jaded and bored riding school types. Your personal safety is paramount, with your ride being selected with your personal ability being at the forefront.
You won't just turn up and ride, you are instructed on how to tack up your ride, and on how to care for your horse afterwards. The girls that work on the yard are also really friendly and helpful. All in all I can't praise this yard enough, I thoroughly enjoy my time there. Check out their Facebook page and see for yourself, birthday parties there are a must for horse mad kiddies, makes me wish I was under double figures again!!!

A friend recommended hot to trot for my daughter and after yesterday's riding lesson I can see why she spoke so highly of Hannah and her team. Everyone and everything at hot to trot was five star. My daughter is 5 and needs her confidence building and after one lesson I could see an improvement, she hasn't stopped talking about her experience. I am excited to have found a riding school that my daughter is excited about attending and look forward to watching my daughter progress.

After 8 months of horse riding at another centre and feeling disappointed with the experience, we found Hot To Trot recommended on facebook and decided to give it a go. Hannah and Sue are excellent teachers and so patient with my 6 year old Grandson. We have both learnt so much in just 2 lessons and when we held his Birthday party there we had a brilliant day and 8 very satisfied children.

In one word "Outstanding".....
Over the years as a child I attended several different riding schools and only ever progressed to rising trot. My daughter however had just turned 8 when she started to have horse riding lessons at Hot To Trot School of Equitation, and only after a couple of months she is able to ride alone, trot, canter, jump, tack-up, catch and care for her own pony.
This alone speaks volumes of the level of teaching at Hot To Trot School of Equitation.
The passion and love my daughter has for riding is all thanks to Hannah and Sue, who offer endless help, time, and support in a very friendly, professional environment.
We feel very LUCKY to have found Hot To Trot School of Equitation.

As a complete beginner, I began lessons a few months ago. My instructor (Hannah) has taught me basic skills that enabled me to hack this summer.
I have been consistently impressed with her ability to instruct, she always manages to find ways to help me understand and develop my riding. I seem to learn something new each lesson whilst reinforcing previous lesson content. These new challenges provide the inspiration to progress in the sport..
Hannah has taught me a riding style that is sympathetic to the horses in her school, also ensuring that I get the most from them during my lessons. Therefore the horses seem to be in great condition and fit for purpose.
I have expressed an interest in learning to jump and Hannah is now tailoring my lessons towards this. The school is very friendly and I highly recommend it to anybody learning to ride.

My daughter takes lessons with Hannah and has learnt so much in only a few lessons. Hannah is patient and thorough, we've been very impressed with every aspect and would certainly recommend her to others.
