Fourth visit to Aspa at Auchrannie and every time the experience just gets better and better!
I had an ESPA full body massage and I must admit, Heather gave me the best massage I’ve ever had! I have never been more relaxed in my life!
The full experience was incredible from start to finish!
The whole staff team are always so lovely! Also, as a plus size woman, the fact they have size inclusive robes (and without having to awkwardly ask for one) makes the experience even better!
The massage was nothing short of absolutely spectacular!
And of course, the famous Sorbet in the relaxation room just finished off the experience!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Thanks to Mhairi for a fabulous Espa full body massage. Hard massage exactly where I needed it on my sore shoulders and relaxing everywhere else. The myrrh and frankincense oil was delicious on my skin. I have had a lot of massages in my life and this one was head and shoulders above most ( sorry for the pun!). Such an enjoyable experience finished off with a strawberry sorbet in the warm and inviting relaxation room listening to the waves. Set me up perfectly for a lovely Winter week at Auchrannie.

As soon as you walk through the Spa doors you instantly get a feeling of calmness and serenity.
I opted for the Ishga Deep Tissue Back, Neck & Shoulder massage and I cannot praise my therapist "Eimear" enough.
She used the right amount of pressure to ease away my aches and pains and knew exactly which areas to work on more.
If Eimear is still there when I return I will definitely be booking another treatment with her.

We had a lovey spa day here for a special treat for my friend - had the swimming pool to ourselves - place was very clean - looked like it had recently had work done. Our facial and back massage were brilliant - lunch and drink were a bonus - beautifully laid out
Mẹo:Swimming pool to ourselves - locker room was empty as well - pool was a nice temperature

Had a fantasic time at the Auchrannie in August and the ASPA experience was a real highlight. Heather was a terrific therapist and I felt incredible after my treatments. Highly recommended.

First of the spa area is lovely very relaxing and quit modern looking.
Me and my partner booked a island spa day for 120 p.p. That did include 2 treatments of 25 minutes and a light lunch.
The girl that checked us in could not have been more nice but then we where taken out of the spa to get changed at the hotel pool changing rooms. Not very spa like.
The treatments where nice but the lady who was with my husband bruised his back with the hot stone massage he still enjoyed the treatment overall but she was a bit ruff.
The relaxation room was nice and the sore after treatment went down well. The spa lunch was nice nothing to shout home about but still nice.
But this is where the relaxation stops because if you want to use a sauna u got to go back to the main pool with screaming kids all over because the spa has no thermal facilities at all. Bit wired never have i been to a spa without any facilities. Considering this I think the price is a bit steep as it is not a spa day it's a treatment and lunch.

Had a wonderful facial, Lisa was great. I felt very relaxed and in capable hands, it was a lovely experience and my skin looks great. I would highly recommend Lisa, I have already booked to go back.

Lovely day at the Auchrannie Spa, we booked the Island Escape.
Mr Saby who did my massage and salt & oil exfoliating was absolutely fabulous and carried out my treatments with expertise and professionalism. I would book again and request Mr Saby.
All staff were professional, polite and helpful.
We had lunch as part of our booking and it was delicious, just what we required after our treatments. We had a lovely day.

Neither of us have had massages before today, and after our wedding on Friday, we were very much in need of one.
Booking was simple, this place is VERY popular so book well in advance.
Arrived 15 mins before booking and met the lovely Kiwi receptionist (we forgot to get her name 😭), she was super friendly and directed us to the changing rooms and got changed into our robes. Becca's massage was at 9, mine wasn't till 10 so got taken to their relaxation room, an amazing space with lovely smells, relaxing ambient noise and incredibly comfortable loungers.
The hour flew by and when it got to 10, got called through for my massage. Lisa was amazing, start to finish. Super professional, and like I said, I've never had a massage before so have no reference as to what a good one is, but if every massage is like that, then it'll become a regular thing. To make it even better she understood my FRIENDS reference. 5 stars just for that! 😊

Enjoyable treatment but very short for the price. I booked a 50 minute massage for £70 however the massage itself was only 35-40 mins. Turns out the 50 min ‘clock’ starts as soon as you enter the room so includes time taken to change and choose oils etc. I was back out in the spa reception exactly 52 mins after my appointment started. I haven’t experienced this at any other spa’s I’ve been to (a fair few) and must say I feel a bit cheated 😕. The spa itself is nice but it ought to be made much clearer that you don’t get the full time booked as massage/ treatment.

I'm so pleased to read that you enjoyed your treatment on the day you visited us. However, I am sorry to see that you felt the time allotted for your massage was not as indicated. I would like to clarify that both our website and Aspa brochure indicate that all treatment times are inclusive of consultation and aftercare advice. Therefore, it is most regrettable if you were not aware of our policy. I have spoken to the Aspa manager and requested that our current protocol is made clear to all future bookings. We hope to see you back at Auchrannie in the not too distant future.

would you recommend driving in arran

Personally I have never had any concerns about driving when on Arran. The main roads are reasonable, certainly a lot better than some in the West Highlands and other islands. I don't know about the bus schedules, but as the previous poster says, if you want to go at your own pace or are time-limited, a car is the way to go.
