Fantastiske besøk på dette destillering. Veldig dyktig guide som guidet oss rundt. Hun kunne det som var verdt å vite om historie og nå tid. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

So interesting even if you don’t like whisky

What a fascinating visit. I have no interest in whisky but was happy to tag along on a visit. For a modest fee we were conducted around the distillery in a small group of 5 by a superb guide. By the end of the tour I felt I could almost start work there as I knew so much. The guide really was exceptional in her knowledge and delivery. I’d really recommend d this trip.

Great team and a great experience

Cannot say enough good things about GG and their staff.

Always welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to help if they can.

The tour has just been updated and improved and the tastings on offer are brilliant.

All the team are doing great things under difficult circumstances recently and deserve to be applauded for keeping a feel good factor going at Glen Garioch.

On top of all that, the Whisky isn't too bad either!

Very poor communication/customer support

I phoned on Easter Fri to check if the Glen Garioch distillery shop was open & was told by a friendly gentleman who answered ‘YES..it is open as usual over the weekend.’ My wife & I made the 30 min trip arriving at 12.00 on Sat. There was a sign up on the gate ‘CLOSED - PRIVATE FUNCTION’! We spoke to Elise, through the gate. She said there was nothing she could do - they were closed for a private function. Although she apologised, there was no real empathy or attempt to reflect understanding of my frustration.

Unfortunately I got angry (not abusive), for which I apologise.

Over the last 3years I’ve spent £1500 at Glen Garioch (our local distillery), starting a ‘legacy whisky collection’ for my Grandson (3 next week)! And would have spent probably tens of thousands over the next 15years.

This experience has made me look elsewhere and I have opted to complete my ‘Grandson’s Whisky Legacy’ at independent Scottish Distilleries (not many left). We got this year’s whisky from Glenfarclas.

A distillery not to be missed on your tour of Scotland

Now, this place is fantastic. The staff are so knowledgeable on the tours. Extremely helpful and we enjoyed getting to taste their lovely products at the end.

Great wee distillery with very good tour.

Visited the Distillery with family friends including two children. Toni our guide was friendly and knowledgable and kept the kids interested throughout, without excluding the adults. Kids even got soft drinks when the adults did the tasting. A great wee distillery, well worth the visit.

Fascinating experience

We went to the distillery on a masters tour, it was the best £17.50 I have spent. The staff are all friendly welcoming and knowledgable, the distillery is interesting and the tasting at the end was the perfect end to a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommended

Distillery visit

Considering I’ve lived in the area for 25 years and have pretty much driven past the end of Distillery Road every day going to and from work, this was my first visit. Ashamed. My colleague and myself took six Russian clients for the tour, we offered a few suggestions but the distillery was a unanimous winner.
The visitor centre was very nice as we assembled before the tour and our clients browsed the shelves.
Our tour guide Rob was excellent. His knowledge of the whole process of making whisky and the history was very enlightening. Instead of reading from a script, his interaction with the whole group made it very entertaining. He had the Russian guys in fits of laughter and they him. Truly a recommended visit. Plan to visit again soon, with my wife

A detour to this Distillery is well worth it.

A very thoughtful and well presented experience. Delightful, well trained staff with a pleasant and well laid out reception area and shop. Tour takes 90 minutes. Well worth a detour.
