This ~33m sea pool is perfect for early morning laps, with a view to boot!
Busier during the day and on weekends with sunbathers and young families.
Open 24 hours but closed once a week for cleaning. Visit the website to find the up-to-date cleaning schedule 🙂

For many its just another day on the harbour.cars and trains rattle across Sydney harbour bridge, filled with commuters as ferries zig-zag efficiently across the water. I have a grin from ear to ear as i Plowright methodically through the still water, crossing the glossy surface. This pool is an historic 30-metre perched on the leafy bank of Cremorn point with prime views back towards the city skyline, the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.. its great for catching the afternoon rays. Its a place where people come to enjoy their own company, to think and sit basking in the winter sunshine. Temperature is 19 degrees whilst the water is 21 degrees. Not bad for winter in Sydney, is it? Best of all it is free. No entry fee. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off.

I used to go here when I lived nearby but the small seawater pool might not be a destination to travel for, however, it’s in a lovely spit along the Cremorne Point walking path so could be good for a refresher dip. Open in winter too if you can handle the cold and the reduced cleaning.

This public pool overlooks the harbour and has spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Public bathrooms are 300 metres walk away, past the ferry terminal. To get down to the pool there are steps, but we saw a few families with prams at the pool when we were there.
We were there on a sunny weekday afternoon and there were quite a few people around when we were there. The pool was due for a clean not long after we went there so the water was a bit on the murky side that day. The pool is fenced off so you can't see the views from the water but the views from the area surrounding the pool are magnificent. There's a deck area which is popular with sunbathers and there's an outdoor shower nearby.
Given the wonderful views and the free entry, it's surprising that not many people know about this pool. I've lived in Sydney all my life and have only just recently heard about it. Most other Sydneysiders that I mentioned it to hadn't heard of it either.
There's a bus stop and a ferry terminal nearby and there's a nice walk here from Mosman Bay.

This seawater pool is great for a cooling swim. Bring a picnic and sit on the grass outside the pool overlooking the yachts and fabulous real estate. The pool is regularly cleaned and there's a freshwater shower and bubbler but no toilets.
Park on Milson Road and walk down the clearly marked steps to the pool which could easily be missed but is a great favourite with locals.
The Cremorne Point walk is another must do activity to enjoy the amazing scenery and location.
