klein maar toch interessant museum voor wie houdt van archeologie, scherven, Spaanse historie...
Je kan er rustig rondlopen en een beetje de sfeer opsnuiven van de oudheid.

Always pop in here when in Pueblo, always something interesting to see. Would thoroughly recommend. Place is spotlessly cleans and staff are very helpful.

I am very interested in Pottery but never come across central and South American pottery before. Very enlightening as to what can be done with low firing!
Also in basement there is items found locally - found out about terra sigillata.
I speak only English so tried audio equipment but it did not work for me so used laminated guides in each room - again learnt a lot! It is all free and staff would not take a donation. Disabled access is via side door - just knock and there is lift to each floor. This was a very informative and interesting visit for such a small museum! Apologies for all the exclamation marks.

Tiene varias piezas interesantes sobre la historia de Benalmádena pero además forma parte del Museo Felipe Orlando que ofrece una interesantísima colección de piezas de cerámica precolombina.

Fascinating small collection of Pre-Colombian objects in display cases in a dated presentation style. Detailed information and context in English about the objects would be greatly appreciated by the many foreign visitors to Benalmadena interested in history and archaeology. Tucked away in the basement is a Roman statue of Artemis in excellent condition that was found in a coastal shipwreck. Clean washrooms in basement. Free admission. Museum is in a central location in Benalmadena's Pueblo district in the upper part of the city whose back streets are worth exploring.

Sinceramente no entiendo este arte, me parecio todo muy bonito y curioso a la vez. El trato fue amable, y me explicaron bien, aunque una excursión de ancianos me tenia de los nervios. Es un sitio al que deberíamos venir todos aunque sea por curiosidad y ver algo distinto.

Situado en el sótano del Museo de Arte Precolombino, cuenta con piezas prehistoricas, de arte prerromano y romano, procedentes de excavaciones del entorno. Aún con un número limitado de piezas, resulta interesante. La entrada es gratuita. Horarios: cerrado todos los lunes del año. Abierto de martes a sabado de 9,30 - 13,30 / 17,00 - 19,00 Los domingos y festivos de 10 a 14 horas. Se encuentra cerrado también los días 1 y 6 de enero, Viernes Santo, 1 de mayo y 24 ,25 y 31 de diciembre. De interés, en especial si se visita también el museo de Arte Precolombino.
