It is a long trip from Perth, that said it was well worth the drive. It was great to see the formations and have some fun trying to come up with what the formation looks like - an owl was one of the favourites. Great scenery and as others have said it was awesome to walk among the ancient formations

Unseasonal showery conditions made for a moody day walking among the pinnacles. Note: walking among the pinnacles. Why oh why have they put a vehicle trail through this natural feature? It’s unnecessary. Otherwise we enjoyed the visitor centre and the eerie beauty of the eroded rock forms.

Amazing pinnacles and at sun rise or near on sunset would be even more spectacular to photograph. I do wish people would not sit or climb on the outcrops.

Be aware it is $15 to enter the national park. We came on a not very busy day and it was very awesome to wander amongst these limestone pillars and take photos. We also drove 15 mins up the road to Lake Thetis and did the walk around there too.

It is always worth visiting the Pinnacles because the changing lighting conditions and clouds give different perspectives. The drive was closed when we visited due to some forecast storms but it's better to walk around anyway. Good job on visitors centre too.

This National Park has many highlights. In addition to visiting the Pinnacles Desert, we returned the following day to view and admire the dunes along the coast, the pristine beaches, Lake Thetis and the stromatolites, take a stroll on the boardwalk adjacent the lake and admire the varieties of flora in bloom. So much to see here, allow at least a half-day.

We hadnt been to the Pinnacles for 17 years when there was a tin shed with a gate to enter.I love the updates and think it has been tastefully done.$15 entrance fee for a vehicle carrying up to 12 people.Toilets,visitor centre and gift shop which blend into the bush setting.We decided to walk the trail which is 1.2km long and then we drove around.Im glad we did both.Walking allowed us to interact with the wildlife seeing kangaroos,lizards and birds.The drive took you to some really great places to take photos.At least in this way if you have a caravan behind your car you can do the walk around.A lot bigger than I ever remember it.Make sure you go when travelling up this way.We spent just under 2 hours here.Opens at 9am and closes 9pm but you can enter the park and use the honesty envelopes or credit card to enter.NO CAMPING OVERNIGHT

Is there an entrance fee into the park and if so how much? Will be in Perth in January.

Yes it was $12 for us. I thought it a bit expensive seeing nature did it and not a city council. However when we got to the center I saw that they are spending the money really well. There is an info center that tell you lots of interesting things I never knew before. Was money well spent.

How to reach Numbing National Park from Perth? I do not want to take guided tours or coaches. What kind of Public transport is available from Perth to reach here?
