There are four Maui Hands art galleries, each with their own art, photography, and jewelry. Some artisans are represented in more than one gallery, others in just one.
I found the jewelry in the Paia gallery to be particularly lovely, and the staff there are especially friendly and helpful.

This group of artists has a shop in Makawoa and in Paia---both are a bit different in what items are on display, but the staff are caring and knowledgeable in each. In Paia we visited with Christi Cafferata who took the time to show us several items, especially the incredible hand made shell Lei made by native Hawaiian artisans on the island of Nihiau (sp?) . The shells are hand gathered, the lei is traditional, hand made over a period on months or years...custom lei's are valued in the tens of thousands of dollars. Christi took the time to explain, share and look for specific jewelry we were interested in. Thank You

We stopped into this shop when it caught our eye from the street. The photography, art, jewelry and people are lovely. Prices are reasonable & the proprietor is highly knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture & history. Highly recommend you stop there when in Paia

One of four locations on Maui: Front Street, in the Hyatt Regency, Makawao and this store in Paia.
Local artists display their work, almost all of the artist are from Maui. Photographs, sculpture, jewelry, prints, items made from wood.... all there for you to see and purchase

This is a lovely shop with quality artisan pieces. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a ring here. I needed a different size and the staff were able to ask the artist to make it for me. It was finished in time for me to take it home with me. I love it!

Bought a Kim McDonald painting here but not before taking two different ones home as "loaners" to try out. I guess this is not uncommon now but it was a great service and they were very helpful and flexible. We were assisted by Kelan (Sp?) & Christi, both were great.

Lots to look at and buy from the local Maui artists. Great and helpful staff. Most items were well priced. Something for everyone
