We spent the morning in the SoHo area learning about marketing, fashion, concept shops and the history of the area. We had a wide range of ages with us, including teens. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed Marla and her vast knowledge about the SoHo district. It's a fast-paced tour with a lot of great information. We were able to see many pockets of the city and ended our tour in Little Italy. I would highly recommend the company and this area if you are ever in NYC and have a few hours to spend getting in depth information about this marvelous town!

I had the pleasure of introducing my corporate group to Marla and her hospitality while we were on a NYC working trip. Marla was adaptable and put together a custom trip for us. She was very attentive to our groups needs and make the trip very special. She has great knowledge of the city! She has many tour guides that work for her, but she is also the owner and it is a very special trip if she ends up taking your group as tour guide!

This was our second shopping trip with Shop Gotham. We visited different designers each time, which is nice. One of the designers even showed me where she sells to a boutique in my town! The range of clothing types (coats to purses, sweaters to silk pjs!) and prices was very good. There is something for everyone and the designers and their staff are very welcoming and helpful. Maria also made out an itinerary for us to shop in SOHO. We had never been to SOHO so it was a fun way to tour. Definitely recommend!!

If you're in the city to shop, you really need to book this Special Access shopping tour. Not only will you have fun, but you'll be getting outstanding prices on great quality designer items. Our guide Camber was a joy: upbeat and charming and an absolute wealth of interesting factoids about the fashion biz. Perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon.

We took this tour with Melanie last week and couldn't have been happier! We visited a purse showroom, jewelry, scarf and two clothing type places. The items were beautiful and the discounts were great! I think what we enjoyed the most is we never once felt obligated to buy anything and the time we spent at each place was just right. It was a perfect way to spend three hours in NYC!

My friends and I signed up for a shopping tour with Gotham when we visited NYC. We had heard through countless others that this was a fabulous activity. It absolutely was so much fun! We each found things that met our own personal styles at hugely discounted rates. Our tour guide was sweet, helpful and energetic. She walked us around the city and into funky and fabulous designer shops. I highly recommend The Gotham City Tour- a super fun NYC shopping tour◡̈

Our tour with Keve through Shop Gotham was amazing! Keve was great and took us to 5 showrooms that we never would have been able to go to ourselves! The designers were so friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase wonderful items at a fraction of the retail cost! Would highly recommend and would definitely book another tour with Marla and Shop Gotham!

I read the reviews and thought I might be disappointed. The shopping was extremely limited. Nothing t all above. Size 12 . The scarf place was great. MY BIG disappointment the description said we would go by the Project Runway apartments. WhenI asked the tour guide ws not even sure where they were and suggested that where they might be was quite a distance. So that part of the description is flat out a lie. NOT at all the fault of the guide person.

Hi, In general what are the price ranges of items, generally speaking....also does everyone usually buy items? I'm just wondering if it's awkward if you go to someones showroom and don't find anything to buy.
Good morning and thank you for your inquiry.
Here are some general pricing guideless:
-Apparel: tops, skirts, dresses, pants etc: will run from $60- $170. (the showrooms are a range of price points and "levels"
- Handbags: $150- $225
- Other Accessories: kimonos, scarves, jewelry: $25- $150
- Outerwear: (in season): $100- $400
We rarely have anyone who buys nothing at all, but No, each showroom does not expect Everyone to purchase.

hi Jennifer, thank you for your inquiry. We don't recommend for under 18 as the Shopping is for "grown up" clothing. There just there isn't much that a 15 year old will enjoy seeing or want to buy.. I took my 16-year-old niece on this tour and she loved it! As the other commentor noted, it's not geared for teenagers, but think she'd probably love the jewelry shop at a very minimum and I wouldn't be surprised if she found a few things to purchase.

Thank you for your inquiry. The showrooms in the Garment Center do Not carry petites. As to the stores in Soho/Nolita.. I would say No also. In general, as you know,, real petite lines are hard to find and not generally in boutiques, just in the department stores. Sorry , wish we had better news for you.

hi Bens mom, thanks for the question and interest. The Showrooms each have a variety of sizes. Most carry 2- 12 with a few size 14's or Larges. Not ALL items will be in ALL sizes but there is most definitely a representation for all hope that helps. .

Not the names your have mentioned and we cannot reveal them in advance.
