I have made Rosecroft an integral part of my neighborhood experience. I have found that it is more than just a raceway, especially since horse racing in Maryland had really declined over the last several years. This true throughout the state. At the same time Rosecroft allowed me to host a celebration when both of my children graduated the same year (one from high school/the other from college). They have hosted political events, amateur boxing tournaments, back to school events, as well as teaming with other racetracks.

Great live racing. Lots of movement competitive fields. But most importantly the payouts are some of the best in NA. Food is pretty good for what it is. The burgers and fries better than most fast food places. Nice big Led tote board. Lots of HD monitors. The Potomac Pace is the night were you get to see some of the best Pacers in NA. Plus the best Drivers also. Its a multi use Facility. There is Boxing Tournaments, Rugby Tournaments plus other activities. year around simulcast betting. Lots of horse related events also. Jockey- Driver challenges, i want to be a driver. Monthly Handicapping tournaments. Fantasy Owner and fantasy football contests. Give it a try make a few bets. Look me up and i will give you a couple winners.

The live harness racing is great! We had someone help with our picks, and we did really well. Everyone is having a good time. It's something different to do and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be going back. Thanks

Love, love, love the harness racing and there are also other various events taking place. Felt very safe for being in the city.

We went out a had a great time at a Jazz crab fest they had at this location. It had plenty of room and folks had fun mingling and visiting the vendors on site. I loved that its only 10 minutes from my home. Be surw to check your calender for next years line up of entertainment here in Maryland.

I relocated from Washington, D.C. over 16 years ago and back then - this was an empty two bit race-track. I see where they now claim to have sulky races on two weeknights each week. Back in the late 90's - the parking lots were not safe, the bathrooms were not safe, and the "fixed races" were not safe. Between Rosecroft and Freestate Raceway, they had more 1 to 9 favorites mysteriously "break their stride" and finish 4th then any other race track in America.
I'm just surprised they are still open and mostly for simulcasting purposes - as they cater to folks that cannot afford a computer to make their bets online.
