Would not plan a day around it, but very well worth the stop. More so when you find out that it is dedicated to the victims of 9/11. It is nice to be surrounded by God's beauty of this area with the mountains, rivers, valleys etc.... so it is great that there is a place to reconnect with God in a Chapel setting as well.

We stopped here to check out this little beautiful church & were very impressed! I even felt compelled to stop our busy day & day a prayer!! The stained glass window is breathtaking!!

This is a pretty spot to visit for a few minutes. The church has a couple of pictures inside where you can see the original building as well as the restorations throughout the years.
There is a fantastic picnic area here as well right across the parking lot. This area has picnic tables and access to the lake front. Highly suggest stopping here for lunch and a dip in Jackson Lake.

Very pretty chapel in Grand Teton National Park. We stopped here on our last day in the Tetons & enjoyed seeing the log church in the woods. We were blessed with seeing an elk on our way back to our cabin too.

We made it a point to stop by to see the Chapel and it’s stained glass during our 42-mile loop but we’re disappointed to learn that it’s open only for weddings during COVID-19.

We really would have loved to go into the chapel but it was closed except for weddings. Looked beautiful from the outside.

Disadvantage of Covid this beautiful Chapel was closed so we were just able to peek into the windows. Little did we know until peeking in is that there was a beautiful stain glass of a Sacred Heart in the middle of the glass. Gorgeous, wish we could have gone in or better yet to attend a service. Maybe next adventure to the Grand Tetons to see this Grand Chapel.

Enjoyed this quite stop at the church. We loved the architect for that day & time . Noticed the support beams on the outside of the church and wondered if they were to help support during large snow storms beautiful stained-glass window behind the altar. Phone cameras really could not take a picture that was worthwhile. Love this stainglass window. Only takes minutes to see but the stop was worth it to obtain the serenity for prayers and gaze upon this beautiful sacred heart of Jesus stained glass window.

Although a basic log cabin in structure, its simplicity is what seems to make it so beautiful. The stained glass window in so pretty! This would also be a nice place to bring a lunch and have a picnic.

The Chapel of the Sacred Heart is close by Signal Mountain Lodge so it is an easy quick stop on the 42 mile park loop. The chapel is open. We entered the chapel, said quick prayers, sat in silence for a few refelective moments, took some photos then left. Note across the parking area is a nice wooded picnic area with portable toilets if you wish to make this a longer stop.

the chapel is o a street subject to closure in bad weather...no snow now so it's open..but you should check with park.

I don't think so either, however it is definitely worth the visit for its silent beauty and views.

We only attended mass Sunday afternoon, so I don't know when it may be opened apart from mass time. If you're passing by anyway, stop and check. It is immediately off the roadway. Although it is nice, I wouldn't go too far out of the way for a visit.

There were no masses when we were there in early June, but through September, Mass is on Sunday - 5PM. The chapel is open during the day and they have a schedule posted at the door.
