A Must Stop for visitors to the National Park

Stopped here several times on way into Yellowstone National Park. Staff was very knowledgeable about the park and surrounding areas. The Park Rangers were available and answered all our questions. The restrooms were clean and spacious. A stop here into the park for a newbie visitor is a must to gather information and make a plan to see the beautiful area!!

I wish I had gotten the name of the lady that helped us. She was full of so much information about local cuisine, the entire park as well as places to visit all around the area. She was right on point. We saw the animals she said would be in each area. We checked out Virginia City, thanks to her recommendation. Definitely worth the stop to get good tips and information!!!

We wanted help with planning 3.5 day visit. Advice was excellent. Allowed opportunities to discover on own and yet noted things not to miss, such as continental divide under a lake, or obsidian cliffs of vital importance to native Americans. A few short steps away from IMAX theater whose showing Yellowstone story was great introduction

Great place to stop and get information about the area. A hidden gem here is that you can stop in here and get your entry fee (or annual pass as I do) before you get in the line to go into the park. Doing this lets you take to pre-paid lane which is way faster. You can get all of the same information here and take time to ask the rangers questions about the park without holding up traffic.

Nice folks working there and prices were not crazy. It was late in there year and they were about to close for the year

free wifi and great staff to help with your park adventures. Ask for local tips on where to eat and they are happy to offer suggestions.

Purchased our pass to the park here. Ranger was not that helpful. I gave him $40 for the $35 pass, because we were asking questions he gave me a receipt and NO change. I didn't realize what had happened until later in the day. The park needs to update there information as many websites-even their own, do not give the actual fees to get into the park.

Great information before visiting Yellowstone NP

I stopped at West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center before entering Yellowstond NP. There is a lot of parking space, and they provide information both on the National Park and on other things to do / see in the area.
Staff are helpful and friendly.
There is also a National Park Service desk, where I could buy my "America the Beautiful" yearly pass, and where they provided very clear information.

Here's the place to go to get expert help and suggestions. Very knowledgeable associates ready to help anyone make their visit the most rewarding. Suggestions to us included to go to certain sections of Yellowstone in order to see some wild life. Following the advice we were greeted by a herd of buffalo.

It's not a visitor centre with a lot of exhibitions as i was used in other national parks but the place provides tons of materials (also free maps) and a free wifi.
