This Visitor Center is an excellent place to get a brief introduction of the park’s history and current events. There’s a small gift shop and restrooms available.

Has a nice overview of the region and animals. Also has bathrooms. Good luck finding parking if you're here later than 7a.

Many visitors to Yellowstone from the north make a beeline for the apparent springs and are disappointed that’s all they can see. The more curious ones purchase a map and see where the boardwalks lead to other active areas but also alongside many historic areas of travertine deposit. But those who take advantage of the visitor center not only learn where the most active areas are, they also learn the area has constantly been changing for a long time. It’s not less active than 50 years ago, just constantly evolving.
The unexpected joy is discovery of unimagined museum displays lending context to the park at large.
Visiting here can get your holiday off to a more informed start.

マンモスホットスプリングスにあるビジターセンターで、北口から入園した場合には最初に訪れて いろいろな公園情報をとるのに最適です。周りには、ホテル、郵便局、土産物店、ガソリンスタンド、クリニックと小さなひとつの町ができています。毎夕方6時頃には、すぐ前にエルクの群れが現れます。

There are restrooms, exhibits, and rangers around to answer questions. This is actually a really good area to see elk, they are often resting on the lawn (don't get too close!).

Visitor center nei pressi dell' ingresso nord sito in un edificio storico (per gli standard statunitensi) molto bello. La situazione che ci ha maggiormente affascinato, però, è stata data dalla quantità di alci che brucano e riposano nei paraggi. Veramente tante ed impavide da dover imporre la presenza di alcuni ranger ad impedire ai turisti di avvicinarglisi troppo.

The visitor centre is smaller than others we have seen in other parks on us.
It is very interesting the section dedicated to the type of animals in the park.
We followed a very interesting lesson from one of the rangers.

The Park Rangers are extremely helpful and have a vast knowledge of Yellowstone National Park. The wildlife displays are pretty cool.

We stopped at the Albright Visitor Center when we first entered Yellowstone Park. The rangers in the visitor center answered our questions and provided helpful overview information. We then walked around the animal exhibits on the first floor, which included well-done mounts of wildlife found in the park. We finished at the Yellowstone Forever store which had quality books and merchandise. Helpful hint: be sure to take note of the tree stump outside the front door of the visitor center - it is a petrified tree.
