Lembert dome is the tourist attraction point and situated in Yosemite National Park. It is a granite dome rock formation and it is accessible only when Tioga Road is opened (normally between May and October)

Our first hike in Yosemite was up at Tuolumne area to Lambert Dome. We were by ourselves almost all the way up and then just a few folks at the Dome. What magnificent granite rock and views. Saw deer, but alas, no bears! I wanted to see one, but my wife, well, perhaps not.

nice from the short trail to soda springs. its behind you on your way to the springs but right in front of you on the way back through the meadow. Beautiful!

Vom Parkplatz ist es nur ein ca. 30minütiger Weg durch den Wald und dann ist er da. Der Lembert Dome. Weiter über blanken Fels konnten wir bei Trockenheit als geübte Wanderer den Granitdom bis auf die Spitze erklimmen. Oben wird man mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und die Tuolumne Meadows belohnt. Pflichtprogramm, wenn man bei den Tuolumne Meadows ist. Ich würde ordentliches Schuhwerk empfehlen.

we view this Lembert dome just from the car when we drove thru' the Tioga road, we can't comment too much on it as we just saw it from the car, not sure if there is hike to it, if so, i think the hike will be tough

Stopped at this dome the day after hiking Half Dome and my legs were still shot so I didn't do this shorter dome hike, but it would have provided an amazing view of the valley. Will definitely do it next time.

This hike from Tioga pass road is an outstanding hike if you want to go for less than 4 hours but <3 miles. You will climb about a 1000' from the Meadow floor to the top of lamber dome and be rewarded with spectacular views if you make the final 300' scramble carefully up the rocks. Enjoy!

Apart from the wonderful drive along Tioga Road which is worthwhile in itself, Lembert Dome offers a chance to walk up a dome without too strenuous a hike, as you start from high up to begin with.
We didn't go to the top as had other plans that day, but walked a little way just to say we'd done it.
Lots of other great places to visit along the Tioga Road - so give yourself enough time to see them all :)

bella cima su cui si vedono spesso degli arrampicatori. particolarmente suggestiva al tramonto quando moltissime persone vanno a fare fotografie alle inclinatissime placche alla sua base. Consigliabile fare il giro con salita alla cima.

Started this hike in the morning. It is on the same trail as Dogs Lake near Tulomone Meadows. Lots of little switch backs all the way up to the top. Total time we spent was about 4 hours to enjoy the views and some lunch. Be careful hiking up and down the dome as it can get quite tricky if you don't remember the way you went up. Use the ridges in the rock for better gripping. It can get quite windy so be careful when getting close to the edge. You get a nice view of the park and other sierras. You can also visit Dog Lake after if you're feeling up to it.
