At least for me it was. This is a cemetery for South Vietnamese war dead. At some point after the war ended, the victors of the North came here and pretty much tore-up the place. One can guess it has been in various states of repair for a while. I just didn't feel good after visiting here. Contrast this cemetery with all the magnificent looking monuments and well maintained cemeteries for the North's war dead, and it just made me feel awful being here, like there was no - I don't know - interest in healing the wounds of that horrible war. I think it would go a long way if the government helped take of this place. It's sacred to the families who are just as much a part of this country as any other Vietnamese is. It's late people, and it's my second sleepless night. And writing a review on a cemetery. What's wrong here?
