Lovely morning there got a sun bed,6 euro, with a free coffee, tea or soft drink at the Venus snack bar, stayed for lunch as well ,

Everyone in Kassiopi is so nice and friendly and helpful except for the man who owns the beach bar, see photo, on the long beach behind Janis restaurant He is the most obnoxious rude man you will ever encounter. His beach bar and sunbeds are to be avoided. He was so rude to me,when I asked him for a sunbed, that 4 strangers got up off theirs and left, despite having paid for theirs. Avoid him and you will have a lovely holiday

Etwas abseits des überlaufenen Bataria Beach ist diese etwas verlassen wirkende Bucht am Ortseingang von Kassiopi fast menschenleer (zumindest 2020)
Hier gibt es nur Kies, dafür ist man schnell in kühlerem Wasser. Zumindest eine Bar hatte geöffnet.

Siamo voluti andare a Kassiopi a tutti i costi perché avevamo visto molte foto carine... ci aspettavamo una spiaggia simile a Palaiokastritsa, invece abbiamo trovato questa piccola spiaggia molto disabitata e triste. È davvero un peccato perché l’acqua è stupenda, ancora più cristallina di Palaiokastritsa e inoltre il villaggio di kassiopi è uno dei migliori dell’isola molto carino per la sua estetica.
L’unica pecca è che la zona è di per se molto ventilata e nonostante il mare rimane calmo non riesci a fare il bagno.

I was wearing proper swimming shoes with rubber soles, to enter the water on this beach. It was still no easy task because some of the stones were much larger than mere pebbles, and caused pain through the bottom of the shoes. A young child, or an elderly person with poor balance, could probably not have entered the sea. Once in, I had a pleasant swim. The water was clean and translucent.

Not brilliant as a beach as such. Very pebbly. Great snorkeling, the water is beautifully clear. Lots of fish and urchins to look at. On the down side entry into the water is very rocky so not possible to do elegantly. Only in a bambi-esque waddle

This isn't a very big beach and the fact it is pebbly doesn't do it any favours. The snorkeling on the main area of the beach is a little poor and some rubbish is visible on the seafloor, yet if you walk a short distance to the far right of the beach, the snorkeling becomes spectacular. A wide variety of fish are visible in the clear water, especially if you stci to the rocks.

I have been going to kassiopi for 30 years now.
Kassiopi has more than 1 beach, there are many around the coves as you walk round to harbour.
However money needs to be spent re developing this area, it saddens me as it used to be so much prettier
Properties also need updating on beach also.
The bus service runs past this beach and it could look so much better.
Crystal blue waters, scenery to die for, please upgrade!
