Much nicer bikini beach than Maafushi. No stones . Beautiful, colorful beach. I have never seen this color before my life

Super flot strand - men udløb fra byen for enden
Der er lidt boder ved stranden ned rimelige priser
Tager ca 20 min med båd fra Maafushi og kister retur 20$ på “færdig tur” mindst der dobbelte fir det samme.

Nie wiem jak ktokolwiek może się na Gulhi czymkolwiek zachwycić. Poza pięknym morzem i ładnym kawałkiem plaży ( z płatnymi leżakami i parasolami ) wyspa to jeden wielki syf !!! Jeśli przyplyniesz tu tylko po to, żeby popstrykac spektakularne focie to za pewne się to uda doskonale. Piękny kolor wody, rosnące na brzegu palmy , huśtawka w wodzie . Wydawało by się raj!!! Niestety, rzeczywistość jest inna. Wyspa jest jednym wielkim wysypiskiem śmieci, gruzu, betonu , starych mebli. Dobrze że tylko spędzimy tu 2 noce bo to koszmar za swoją własną kasę !!! Omijaj szerokim łukiem

Spiaggia molto bella dove è possibile fare il bagno anche vicino alla riva, sulla sabbia bianca che però presenta nel mezzo un po' di coralli rotti per cui bisogna fare attenzione.
Il reef non è molto lontano ma presenta coralli purtroppo ormai i morti e un po' di pesci colorati.
Essendo una delle spiagge più note spesso sono presenti anche persone che arrivano da escursioni da altre isole, e nel periodo di gennaio forse poco adatta come scelta perché per tutto il soggiorno di due settimane l'ho trovata con vento e mare con molta corrente.
Il reef non è molto lontano ma presenta coralli purtroppo ormai i morti e un po' di pesci colorati.
Essendo una delle spiagge più note spesso sono presenti anche persone che arrivano da escursioni da altre isole, e nel periodo di gennaio forse poco adatta come scelta perché per tutto il soggiorno di due settimane l'ho trovata con vento e mare con molta corrente.

Nice beach with crystal clear and turquoise water. There were umbrellas at the beach so you can be at the shadow (the sun is really burning on sunny days). At the beach were some guys who asked us if we wanted to stay under the umbrella. We said yes.
After few hours of sunbathing he asked us some payment for the sunbeds and staying under umbrella. He didn’t mention any prices first so we were quite confused and annoyed about this kind of payment requirment. First he told us to pay 15$ but was finally okay with 10$. So as an advice: really recommend to ask if some service is gonna cost something. We felt like were fooled. Usually people at Maldives have been so kind and pure to us.
Near the beach is also some souvenirs sellers (jewellery, clothing etc.) and every time if passing by those sellers tried to get us to buy something.
There were also some shards of glass at the beach, so be careful if you have small children or you are bare foot.

Beach is basically ok but there are couple of disturbing things.
Negative things:
- We felt like we were scammed because we were not told that the use of sunbeds and umbrellas cost you dollars. There is no signs or anything regarding this and still the staff are offering you sunbeds and then after the day are asking for money.
- There was some broken glass on the beach
- People are selling some souveniers in front of the beach and every now and then they are bit aggressive
Positive things:
- Nice views and lots of room for people
Negative things:

Lovely shallow beach with all possible shades of blue. At the time of our visit, the beach was generally quiet and there were only a few other people besides us. There is no public toilet in the area, it can be found at the beachfront restaurant and costs $ 1. The beach was tidy in the mornings, but we still found some shards of glass. There are numerous sweet little crabs on the beach that were great to follow.

Hi, I think you should take a private boat
Private Boats are always better and in my opinion the private boat will be much more memorable than a public boat.

buenos dias!!! llegare a Male con un crucero. La idea es quedarnos 2 noches en Gulhi del 2 al 4 de noviembre. Alguien puede asesorarme con los traslados?? horarios de ferries y/o speed boat?? gracias

Io ho fatto base a Maafushi. Dalle 7 in poi c'è il ferry ed anche diversi motoscafi veloci che Ti portano sull'isola.
Il tempo di viaggio è di appena 15 minuti al costo di 5 euro per tratta con il motoscafo veloce, pochi spiccioli con il ferry.
