We had 4 days on this wonderful bech, absolutely stunning. It goes on for miles and miles, beautiful sand, it is clean and safe with lovely waves. quite a few beach shacks where you can eat and drink at very low price.

Пляж - мунмцмпальный, но удобства обеспечивают небольшие ресторанчики-кафе, которые предоставляют бесплатно с обязательством их посещения лежаки под зонтиком и полотенцем для застилания мягкого матраса. Пользовались услугами кафе Silver Sand Beach - рядом с выходом на пляж из отелей Novatel, Shikara, Redisson. Меню разнообразное по приемлемым ценам - есть на русском языке, холодные напитки, достойные вторые блюда. Можно просить персонал принести напитки под свой зонтик. Из удобного сервиса - недорогой массаж и после десяти сеансов массажиста Питера ( Петя) чувствуешь себя прекрасно. Продавцы мороженного, ширпотреда в целом ненавязчивы - можно недорого - надо торговаться, как во всех южных странах изначальная цена завышена вдвое - второе, купить для плажа парео, которое можно использовать для покрытия лежака сверх пляжного полотенца
Море ( океан) в феврале немного штормило, сложности с заходом, но после прохода волн - можно часами плавать.

Absolutely stunning beach. So clean... the sand is so soft... the sea is like bath water. Some fabulous beach shacks with fabulous food, especially Dom's Shack. Absolutely love this place.

Райское место. Километры песчаных пляжей, чистота и уединенность (при желании). Шейки с вкусной и не дорогой едой.

This is an excellent beach in South Goa. Clean waters, soft sand makes it wonderful visual. Watersports available as well.

Beautiful and quiet beach.
Unlike the beaches in North Goa this beach is not very crowded
10 minutes walk from Royal Karma Haathi Mahal. Can be approached directly from Novotel and Radisson resorts.
There are four shacks on the side of general public entry and two near the access from Novotel/Radisson hotels
In the day the shacks put sun beds and in the evening chairs and tables with candle lights replace the beds. Shacks play music which is good and not chaotic and loud as in beaches of north goa.
There are a few water sports available including parasailing, boating, water scooter, banana boats etc
Life guards is available
Beach frequented by ladies selling their wares and men and women offering massages on the beach
Paid toilets available at the general entry and also have bathing facility. The charges are Rs 5/10/30. Toilets are fairly clean.
Shacks open around 9-9.30 AM
There are a few shops on the road leading to the beach selling clothes, bags and souvenirs etc. Shops also open around 9 30 AM
The beach is very clean
It is frequented by stray dogs so one has to be careful
Very good for morning and evening walks if you live close to the beach.
There is a very nice shopping center {Luisa by Sea} which is five minutes away from the beach. It has restaurants/convenience store, jewellery, chemist, and many other things.

August in Goa would be really great and enjoyable... it wld be raining and though you can't go very near the beaches, but still you can enjoy the waves and truly relax... the best places to eat would be : Dom's Beach Shark, James' Beach Cafe, Bike Old Anchor, Octima Restaurant, and many more... If you haven't done Dudh Sagar, you must do it... Do scuba diving, Divar Island, Todo Falls, Chapora River, and butterfly beach... Enjoy...

Добрый день! Собираемся в Кавелоссим 5 февраля. Едем в Индию первый раз. Подскажите пожалуйста, где лучше менять валюту? Где заказывать экскурсии? Хотели посетить плантацию специй и побывать на рыбалке. Может еще что-то посоветуете?

Если у Вас заказан групповой трансфер из Даболима до Кавелоссима,то советую взять такси,т.к. Кавелоссим и Мобор будут последними по пути следования.Это еще минимум час-два к трансферу.Берите такси pREPAID.Не путайте с PAID TAXI - оно дороже.Мы прилтели в 6 утра и такси до Кавелоссима обошлось нам 1200 рупий(рублей).По карте оплатить не получится.Можно водиле отдать доллары.На обмен в отеле утром не надейтесь.Экскурсия на плантацию,раз едете первый раз очень интересная.Обычно она в паре с водопадом.На рыбалке не была,но отзывы тех кто был не очень хорошие.

Здравствуйте! Стоимость обеда на двоих на двоих от 800 до 1000 рупий ( без спиртного ). На ужин мы брали рыбу, и это уже подороже - 1300 -1500 руп.( без спиртного ).В Индии нам понравилось! Хотелось бы вернуться еще!

I am planning to stay in Radisson Blu during July 2018. I have few queries.
1. Is there any good tourist locations nearby? How far are they and the mode of transport suggested?
2. Will there by any place nearby where I could take vehicle on rent for sightseeing or should I rely on the hotel for the same?

In South Goa, you can find the Netravali Bubbling Lake, the beautiful Mobor/Cavleossim Beach, Palolem Beach, Cabo De Rama Fort, Galgibaba Beach (Tortoise Nesting Beach), Sahakari Spice Farm (for an auhentic Goan experience). These are some of the places that you can explore when in South Goa, since it is very quiet and all the luxury resorts are situated here.
If you fancy loud noises and crowded beaches, then North Goa is more commercial and cheaper. Mode of transport is surely a car on rent, which you can get easily right outside Radisson Hotel. If you want to ride a bike for longer hours, then you can also take scooty/bike on rent from the same guy.

I have booked Dona Sylvia Beach resort in the last week of May. Will the beach shacks be there on Cavelossim Beach during that time of the year?

Hi I have spoken to my friend in Cavelossim and some of the Beach Shacks were taken down on the 11th of April.

Cavelossim Beach stretch has one of the best beaches in Goa. You can stay at the Leela, which is at the Mobor Beach. Other fine resorts are the Novotel (or Dona Sylvia), Radisson Blu, Haathi Mahal. The Dabolim airport is just 45 mins away from these properties.
