Usually people choose jungle type lodges, but this is more modern and should be as it is new. The rooms are large and well lit. The in room wifi strong. The lawns are nice to have a chill dinner with group of friends, the food is good. They also have indoor games. Nice place for a family or group. Ofcourse you will not get the jungle experience

When it came to deciding a location for a family holiday, where we would have each and every member doing things together, we all zeroed down to Dandeli. With Jungle safaris, Farm visits, Supa backwater safari, Supa hanging bridge, white water rafting, Zorbing, zip line … and many More that we could not do like trekking, temple visits… this place is ideal. The experience of being bumped from side to side in a Bolero while doing Off Road driving… and each one of us telling our vomitting stories … all these are memories that we have gathered We were 22 of us and stayed at Shreeyog Inn, This is a fairly new Resort, run by a Yong and dynamic Shreesha Rao. The rooms are large about 500 sqft, even bigger than any 5 start hotel, can easily house 4, but they believe in giving us luxury of space on a holiday. As the hotel is fairly new, they can add a few more amenities to the room to make it super luxurious. Every room has a balcony for the smokers to puff away without the smell lingering in the rooms. They have their own laundry, so the linen in the room is spotlessly clean. Cycling, table tennis, darts, caroms are some activities that one can do while at the resort. The lawns are well kept and it’s good to do Yoga in the outdoors. I feel I should go back with a yoga group. Of course we have suggested a separated activity zone, so that other guest are not disturbed. It is also a pet friendly Resort and they have 2 rooms allocated for pet owners, I wish we knew in advance, our pets Rocco, Mogambo, and Oreo could have been a part of our family holiday. Service was top class, for the 4 days at the resort, we felt we owned it, everything was possible, staff are friendly and ever ready to do anything. Food was the highlight, whether it was a simple dal kichdi, curd rice or chicken varuval, Chinese preparation, the food is far more than what we expected at the Resort. It was a pleasant surprise We also went to Shetty lunch home for a sea food meal one afternoon, not too far from the resort, For seafood loving family, this restaurant passed all our markers The Resort has enough parking space, and also facilitates for drivers to eat and sleep. What did I miss, I guess a swimming pool, The plans for a pool is underway and probably when I visit next we will have a pool. The expansion plan also includes a banquet facility. And probably some amenities. For our Family this place will be a repeat destination, All the best to the Management of the Resort…. OUR FAMILY RECOMMENDS THIS RESORT AND DANDELI…ONE WORD ….MEMORABLE!!!!!…

We were visiting Dandeli only for 2 nights during Christmas holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is newly built and well maintained. Rooms are specious, clean and equipped with most of the amenities. Only the minibar/fridge and TV is missing. There is free Wi-Fi but the range is available only in passages and common areas. We could still get some range in the room on the ground floor. Although you won’t need TV or internet. Dandeli is a place to enjoy the nature around and the resort has many activities to keep everyone engaged. There was a big lawn, camp fire place and DJ during the night. There were cycles available to ride, soft archery, table tennis etc for kids to play. The restaurant serves delicious food. They don’t have room service yet but the restaurant is not too far from the rooms. The good part is that they have limited à la carte menu and everything is made fresh and tasty. We loved the chicken ghee roast, naan and chicken fried rice a lot. There were equally tasty veg options, we particularly liked daal khichadi. They do have breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets but we didn’t go for those. The bread omelette for breakfast were good too. The service staff at the restaurant is courteous and extremely helpful. Birbal took extremely good care of us during all meals. The staff at the resort overall was really friendly and helpful. A few parts are still getting developed like a banquet hall above the restaurant and swimming pool etc. We will highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dandeli any time!…
