My wife and I took a day trip to check out the lake in Death Valley and thoroughly enjoyed the Inn at the Oasis. Room was clean and quiet, and we luckily it was during a new moon so we could take advantage of the Inn’s rooftop low-light viewing area, where the stars and milky way were on beautiful display. The pool was fantastic, about 30ft long and at a comfortable 82degrees F. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great place to stay in DV

A classic 1920's historic inn that is beautiful, quiet and relaxing! The inn reopened a few weeks back after extreme flooding and mud caused devastation from Hurricane Hillary in August. It is AMAZING they have been able to clean up and repair so much after such a disaster. More sevices, such as dining and the bar in the Inn, will reopen in the next few weeks. It was not a hardship to drive one mile over to the Ranch for meals, and we are glad we booked our vacation with the Inn.

We have been going to Death Valley and the Inn off and on for over 60 years, almost always staying at the Inn, seeing many changes over the years. It is still one of our favorite places to visit and all the recent renovations through out the Oasis are amazing. Remember, Death Valley is a very large national park (over 3,000 sq. mi) and you are an hour away from the closest town, Pahrump and over two hours from Las Vegas, so your options are very limited to the Inn at Death Valley and the Ranch at Death Valley, along with two other small lodging properties elsewhere in the park. The Inn was built in the 1920s and has wonderful historic charm. The new casitas are a wonderful addition at the base of palm garden, making it a tough choice between those and the historic hotel up the hill. If in a casita you have your own golf cart to go up to the hotel and dining room. the casitas have a king or two queens, the sitting room couch is a fold out, there is a wet bar and nice size bath with a shower. The picturesque pool is filled by the spring that makes the oasis, that then travels across the road to the ranch, its pool and golf course. Breakfast and Dinner are available in the dining room and their are other options across the highway at the Ranch. We had great meals in the dining room, as well as the bar/lounge menu in the evening (thanks to Gary and Joseph). Housekeeping has not made it back from Covid days but fresh towels and trash removal were available. It would be nice to have housekeeping back at least every other day. The Inn and dining are not inexpensive but remember you are out in the middle of nowhere (the Ranch is somewhat less expensive). The history, uniqueness, surroundings and solitude are worth it on our opinion and we look forward to our next visit.…

Unique inn located at an oasis in Death Valley with beautiful grounds . Stayed in a casita which was comfortable and well appointed although the internet service was non existent. Wait service in the restaurant was very good and we did not experience the long waits reported by other visitors. Food was very good, although very expensive with limited menu options that did not change over three days. That said, this is Death Valley and along way from provisioning sources. The casita room charge was ~$600/night, which would be reasonable for a 5 star resort, which this is not. Half of the pool umbrellas were inoperable which is simply not acceptable in an area with intense sun. Moreover during our three day stay there were no pool attendants and one day we had to source our own towels from a container outside the pool area. There are two electric vehicle chargers on premises, but one was inoperable and looked like it had been for a long time given the heat damaged plastic bag that covered it. Again, for a 5 star resort this is unacceptable, particularly in an area where there are no EV chargers for miles. The Inn advertises chargers, but an inn of this size and should have at least 4 chargers working and available at all times. The lounge chair covering were dirty and stained, again not acceptable for a resort that charges up to $600/night. and …

Talk about an overhyped ridiculously expensive hotel? This is it!!! Badly needing a make over - its all old and tired and thats before we think of the staff OK they plus the even worse Ranch have the market cornered, where is the competition please. Let's see Marriott or Hilton here and these establishments would be doomed. Food prices are LA price plus, again the monopoly effect. Just avoid the whole place - drive to get to D Valley early and keep going
