More hotel than resort

This was a very disappointing vacation. Was expecting a resort but got a hotel experience. Room was nice but overlooked the noisy street. Only one restaurant open at a time. You have the option of taking a golf cart across the street to Dreams to eat but the restaurants over there are underwhelming and service is mediocre. The beach is also across the street. The water is beautiful but the beach is rather small and they are building living pods on it. No experienced bar tender on site so you have to pick what you want to drink from what's available in their cooler. They do serve food. The pool area was not well maintained on a consistent basis. It wasn't a large area and it got noisy with everyone playing their own choice of music on their individual speakers. Room service was terrible. The food wouldn't arrive at times and if we got lucky and it did arrive it was wrong. To top everything off as I was sitting on my balcony one morning a member of the grounds crew put down his leaf blower and urinated on a tree. …

Great birthday trip

Loved this resort! My girlfriend took me for my 35th birthday and had the room decorated. We had our service pup with us and they treated her like a little princess. They also upgraded our room to the Master Suite which was a pleasant surprise. The food was great. Top shelf alcohol was included. Everyone was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The private beach is across the street and it’s very well maintained. My only caveat was the room service and the cleanliness of the pool. We’re looking forward to visiting again when the beachfront pods are open.

Zoetry Curacao is a hot mess.

Do not stay here. This is the most poorly run resort we have ever been to. It is so understaffed that once we sat down for lunch yesterday, it took three hours before we got our food. The was only one young woman taking orders and serving food for the entire pool area, which the only place to get food other than room service. She would take an order, go to the kitchen,and not return until the food was done, then she would go to the next table and repeat the process. When I went to the front desk to ask if anything could be domes to speed up food service, I was told to go over to their sister property, Dreams, they have plenty of staff over there. They only have one bartender at each bar at a time, and they can disappear for long stretches at a time. While most of the staff are very friendly, they don’t seem to have received much if any training. One “bartender” didn’t know that a margarita was made with tequila I watched him make one with vodka, and was very surprised when I told him they were made with tequila. Another put salt on the rim of a glass of whiskey on the rocks. Hopefully Hyatt can fix this hot mess of a resort, but we will not be staying at Zoetry properties in the future.…

Fabuleux

Un hotel haut de gamme. Les chambres sontmagnifiques et la nourritureetles cocktails delicieux. Petit coup de coeur pour Ruth qui offre un service incroyable et pour Dery et son sourirecommuniquatif. Nous avons loue une auto directement a lhotel pour moins de 100$ par jour et avons pu visiter lile a notre rythme. Soncerement tout etait mieux que ce que nous nous etions imagine.

Te duur voor wat het is, wat een mentaliteit

Een zeer leuke welkom met drankje en vochtig doekje. Kamers zijn mooi en proper en de minibar goe gevuld. Het privé strand is ordelijk maar ze zijn er aan het werken aan de nieuwe kamers, zeer primitief op gebied van eten maar wel lekkeren toilet is in een container, mooi zicht, de zee is prachtig. Sommige dranken zoals cava zijn er soms bij en soms niet. Het eten is helemaal niet culinair en vaak droog. Gelukkig kan je gebruik maken van het Dreams hotel, want anders zou het maar saai zijn. Het personeel in de ontbijt ruimte van de Zoetry zijn lui en traag, het duurt lang voor je alles krijgt, als je al alles krijgt want vaak vergeten ze dingen…ze lachen je ook gewoon uit en hebben er plezier in als je je opjaagt. Het personeel van Dreams is vriendelijker en meer bereid om iets te doen.Als je eten koud is of je eet het niet op, zal geen kat je vragen waarom, uit schrik dat ze dan nog meer moeten werken. Bestel gerecht per gerecht, zodat het niet te snel komt of niet koud is. Elke dag loopt er wel iets mis, of ze vergeten je bestelling, of er is iets niet meer, of de wijnproeverij gaat niet of een uur later door, of ze brengen je voorgerecht samen met je hoofdgerecht…. Als ze zeggen dat een bar opengaat of iets plaats vindt op een bepaald tijdstip, tel er dan een half uur bij. Wat wel zalig is, ze doen je was inbegrepen in de prijs, ze zeggen dat je die dezelfde dag hebt, dat is niet het geval maar 2 dagen later krijg je je was netjes gedaan terug. Lisette is conciërge en zij is zeer lief en bereid, Norman van het Dreams hotel is ook vriendelijk en goedlachs, net zoals Ainsly die met de golfcar rijdt met dank aan hen. Een aanrader om te gaan eten in Willemstad is Perla del Mar, mooi zicht aan het water en lekker eten. Als je een fles wijn bestelt, moet er wel naar de manager gebeld worden om hier toelating voor te krijgen gezien ze weinig levering van wijn krijgen… …
