I arrived in the early morning from Moscow and found a friendly receptionist at this hotel. Despite the thousands of photocopies she made of my passport for the Russian "registration" bureaucracy, the rest of the checkin procedure was easy, despite her lack of foreign language skills. The bedrooms are nice and renovated, and only the shower is shared. Toilet and sink are in the bedroom. The location is ideal. What made this hotel lose an "excellent" review from me is the fact that some senseless individual started working with a drill at 9 in the morning, because he thought he had to replace the door lock at THAT time, despite waking up the whole floor, and not in the afternoon when all the guests would be gone…
