Palacio Santa Clara is the perfect base for exploring Valencia. The decor is exceptional with a lot of character while including all the comforts you could want. The breakfasts are incredible with a huge variety of choices. Next time I’m in Valencia I will definitely be staying at Palacio Santa Clara.
Fabulous hotel at the edge of the old town. Has been renovated really tastefully and funky. Didn’t feel like a sterile cookie cutter hotel The rooms we had were spacious and well equipped. The bar was dead though - maybe the hotel was just quite Roof bar was nice and lovely staff It was hot in the city so the air conditioning was a relief and I’d love to come back to Valencia when it’s cooler and would stay here again
Amazing hotel!! Top location in buzzing streets with lot of shopping possibilities and restaurants. Great and very kind and helpful service. Beautiful rooftop and pool area (larger than expected and as shown on photos) and very decorative room.
The hotel is very central and has recently been refurbished so very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were smaller than expected from the photos but they were well sound proofed and curtains kept the rooms very dark. Unfortunately there were a few aspects that spoilt it for us. There were 2 of us booked into the room but they only gave 1 dressing gown and pair of slippers. There was only a small espresso machine in the room which was not replaced if you used the capsules. You were only given one bottle of water and not always replaced and and empty mini bar. The wardrobe was only tall enough for shirt length garments. Our toilet door scraped on the floor and had to be tugged open. There was no bar facilities open either in reception or by the pool and despite asking we could not get any drinks. The pool is very small but adequate to cool off but we did not see it cleaned at all during the week we stayed and there was a build up of green algae around the inner edge. It was obvious they were on minimum staffing levels and the rooms were only serviced once per day - most hotels of this price range check for towels etc in the evening.…
