Greeted straight away by Gillian, very nice and informative about the local area. Room was nice had modern features and a fresh refurbished look to it. Unfortunately we had a problem with the shower as it wouldn’t regulate heat, informed Gillian who tried her best to resolve the problem with no luck. We had to move room which was no problem, we got assisted with our bags and upgraded to a studio!! Breakfast was beautiful both days! Loads of options freshly cooked and everything throughout the hotel was very clean. 10 minute walk to bars and supermarkets and other fast food outlets a stone throw away. Would highly recommend!

Lovely B&B room was immaculate. Breakfast was cooked beautiful by Caroline, she couldn't do enough for us, giving us suggestions on where to eat out and places to visit. B&B was ideally situated close to all amenities. Will definitely come back in the future.

Brilliant B&B Very clean and modern Excellent parking Excellent cooked breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff, clean soft fluffy towels Close to shopping centre with Tesco and the range and McDonald’s near by, plenty fast food restaurants near by too

I recently stayed in this B & B which was located very near to the town centre. Parking was available outside. Staff were courteous and helpful. The WiFi signal was strong, which was good. My room was clean and spacious with hanging space and drawers for clothes. The bed was fine, nothing special. The lighting was just sufficient, it was better in the daylight to do my work when the sun shone through. Television was good. Hospitality tray was plentiful. Shower pressure was very poor indeed. Also, when I had to ask for hot water during the afternoon - I was told to hang on for 15 minutes while they turned on the pump! The water was still only luke warm after 15 minutes. The two lovely dark green towels were fluffy and appeared to be fairly new so it was a shame that they were so small. The only toiletries provided were individual soaps. There was an extra wall heater in the room, which came on for a short while at the switch of a button. If you want to bring in takeaway food, they asked for you to use the breakfast room as it was clearly stated that any mess made in the room would be charged. Breakfast was the usual cereals, juice, bread in a basket for toast, butter etc. hot water urn for coffee/teas. Porridge you could get on request and a full English breakfast. Both of these were served hot. There was no fresh fruit on display and you could ask for a banana, if they had one. The same (poor quality) yoghourts were on a tray for most of the week. There was one thing though that gave me grave cause for concern was the fact that after a certain time of day, and overnight, there was noone on reception. It was stated quite clearly in your room the number you had to call in case of emergency, but this worried me greatly. When I arrived back late one evening, there were two men loitering outside - not good.…

Took a room at the Bannview the night before my wedding at the weekend. Made to feel welcome and given a large spacious room. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. If I were to be picky, the Shower water pressure could have been better, and some of the wallpaper could perhaps do with a freshening up etc but in the whole it is a good value, clean and welcoming place to stay.
