Completely out of the blue found myself staying for a night and was pleasantly surprised as to what I got for my money. Gaining access and keys was a pain waiting around for a good 30mins. Also neither lifts were working which was a nightmare given I was on the 8th floor! Also if your visiting Manchester it a long way into the city centre on foot. There’s no trams that I’m aware of either.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to the cricket. On arrival you need to ensure you have checked your e-mails as one is sent with your room number and entry code to the building. It appears to be policy of leaving your key in an unlocked room! The apartment was okay for 2 nights. We were on the ground floor and the bedroom window faced the designated "outside smoking area", as a result of this the room smelled strongly of smoke as window was open due to warm weather. The mattress was very soft as were pillows. There was a vacuum, iron, ironing board and washing machine BUT NO HAIRDRYER! I think this is an essential item. The apartment was clean enough but I felt it smelled quite strongly of stale smoke therefore making us feel like it was unclean. The only positive is its location for Old Trafford Cricket Ground!…

Excellent location. However, apartment needs a major deep clean. Dust all over the skirting, extractor fan in the bathroom. Dust lines in between kitchen cupboard doors. Grime all over the bottom of the shower door, yellow grout. Marks all over the walls, especially around light switches, looked like someone had been picking their nose & smearing it. Found a dirty plate and cutlery under the bed from a previous occupant. Probably still there now and hasn't been noticed. Beds are SUPER UNCOMFY. Mattresses are way too soft so you literally sink straight to the base of the bed. Beds ripped and falling apart. Carpets not fit right so coming away at each door plate.

If I could give this place 0 I would. Not even sure what the place is like as I never managed to get there!. I booked a room in this hotel on 24/07/2019. However on 23/08/2019 I received a call from booking.com informing me this hotel had over booked and could no longer hold my booking. This left me scrambling for somewhere similar distance and facilities 26 hours before I was due to arrive!!. Also about 3 weeks ago I emailed this hotel asking about ID information and if I could show it on the day, instead of uploading it through the online site. Absolutely disgusting service.. to let a customer know a day before they are due to stay at this hotel. I don’t think I’ve ever been more angry. It’s likely this hotel had there deals on multiple sites and over sold, leaving them to drop a-few of their bookings last minute. I work some weeks 60 hours and have been looking forward to this weekend away with 2 friends for a month. And you treat customers like this? - it’s out of order. Also I haven’t heard anything from yourselves, AT THE VERY LEAST an apology. I wouldn’t book here. They over book and give the room to the best price paid for that day.…

I have stayed here twice this year for two weeks in February and again in July. Unfortunately,it has all the management earmarks of a property in decline. This is a nine story building that has two elevators. The main one has been out of service for several months and the other is once again broken down with no indication of a possible repair date. One of the locks on three entrances is also broken and the main lobby walls are thilthy. There is a real problem with garbage removal and one of the tennants has sighted a rat. Too bad , because units themselves are fine , well equipped and clean. If you get a good rate {£60} then book for entire visit. They like to short shrift you and and move you into smaller units at the weekend or just indicate that they can’t accomodate you on Saturday. Location is excellent but the “ we are making so much money we don’t care, if you’ve just had surgery and need to walk up and down 9 flights “ is annoying especially when they are charging over $225 a night on the hotel booking sites. I won’t be coming back.…
