Just got back from being here for a long weekend , it was an amazing lovely home , plenty of walks ,and the garden view was a picture I could of stayed outside all the time. The family who run the farm were so welcoming and friendly. Te house has everything you need and very well equipped ,the beds and the bedrooms are so comfy. When we arrived we was welcomed with a freshly baked cake 🎂 and little note I couldn't fault this place at all. We went as a big family and never did you feel like you was under each others feet

This property is now a holiday rental. We hired the place for a week. The house is a good size with 5 bedrooms, (3 ensuite).House bathroom and downstairs loo. The kitchen and dining room are spacious. Only one lounge and TV. Plenty of space for all guests. Garden is a decent size. Plenty of kitchen/dining wear for the number of bedrooms. All electric (no gas/oil).
WIFI ok
An old building that still has single glazed sash windows but the property was nice and cosy even so. On a working farm. Close enough to Thetford Forest. Nice walks available from the farm. A river nearby where I spotted two otters.
The owner was very attentive and helpful.

Set on a lovely authentic working farm, this B&B is "Olde worlde" so to speak, so don't expect all mod cons and fancy designer interior. What you get is a room in a real English Farm house with lovely olde English furnishings and settings. Tv is hit and miss, Wifi is available but we somehow never managed to find it or connect to it. No matter,it is still delightful. Wendy will prepare you a custom ordered breakfast fresh each morning and you will not be disappointed. The farm itself is beautiful, although set out of the village itself and a little hard to find the first time you arrive. I was brought up in this area ( although I now live in the USA). It is a great area to visit, lots of natural beauty and amazing pubs and true English villages. This makes a great base to travel out from daily. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at this working farm. Dont let the term farm stay put you off this is no ordinary farm house! Wendy and Edwin are a delightful couple and made us feel very welcome. The room was beautifully appointed and looked out over the farm. Wendy kindly showed us many of her antiques including a painting complete with working clock. Breakfast was huge and did us until dinner time. The village pub at Mundford is close by for typical pub dinner once again huge servings. We walked along the river that runs through the farm and were fortunate to see an Otter. The house was agreat base for visiting Oxborough House and Grimes Graves. Give it 5 out of five for friendliness and comfort.

My daughter and Granddaughters were staying at a Caravan Club site near Thetford, and there was no room for me in their Caravan, I therefore looked up and booked the Colveston Manor 4star bed and Breakfast in order to visit them during their holiday. I was made very welcome, the room was delightful, the Host Wendy was superb, even providing a Taxi service for me from the Campsite when I had enjoyed a beverage or two with my Daughter and Family that evening. I spent a very comfortable night in my room, the bathroom/toilet was conveniently nearby, and very well appointed, I was the only visitor that night, unsurprisingly as the weather was absolutely awful, and the House is situated at the end of a Farm Track. I arose early, and was honoured with being able to take the dogs for a walk, I always walk in the mornings these days and it was great to have the two Spaniels as company. The Breakfast was superb, home made, hot and timely, I could not wish for any better anywhere! Any outward bound walkers who are visiting the Thetford Forest, this should be your Accommodation of choice.
