Very cosy guesthouse with kitchen and shared common bathrooms. Clean and helpful staff. It operates on a very help-yourself basis, so just clean up after you're done, and you're good. The guesthouse is on the 3rd floor above a 24-hour laundromat (4000krw per laundry load). Note there isn't a lift. Free parking directly in the compound, but only 2 lots, however plenty of street parking is available, on a first come first served basis. Don't return too late at night though, or you'll have trouble getting a lot (the fight for lots is brutal!)
My friends and I stayed a night here. It is a cosy place to stay with one room. It has heated floors and bed as well. Overall the place was clean and comfortable even though it was a bit small for 5 of us. Furthermore it is pretty near the airport.
I stayed at Worlang house for 4 nights in April 2014 Location-It is located about 10mins walk from the main Shin Jeju shops/restaurants. 5minutes by taxi from the airport (4300W). 15mins by taxi to Jeju-si (6500W depending on traffic) or 25mins by bus (1000W) The bus stop to Jeju-si and/or bus terminal is only 5mins walk away. Amenities-There are 2 common shower/toilet (one is bigger). The common living area is very cosy and always has calming music playing. Kitchen is clean and equipped with fridge, cooktop, microwave, hot/cold water. There is a laundromat downstairs (4000W for washing and 3500W for drying) If Mr Heung isn't free to do a driving tour, he can recommend other drivers (150,000W for a day). It was a very pleasant stay, including breakfast and a clean environment.
Worlang House is a great place for budget traveller, solo travellers and foreigners. The room is extremely clean and the host is very helpful. He speaks English quite well and provides useful tips to help foreigners get around the vicinity. Breakfast is ready by 8am daily with bread, fruits, salad, milk. Cosy like a home, you get to choose how to prepare your own breakfast. The communal area allows you to mingle with the other guests staying there. Best of all, free wifi is available in the guesthouse! Greater details can be found on my blog (http://joslovesfood.blogspot.sg/2013/09/jeju-do-korea-guesthouse-in-jeju-city.html).
My girl friend and I stayed in Worlang Guesthouse during our recent trip to Jeju. The owner, Heung is a friendly and quiet person. We booked for his transport service for a day tour in Jeju. It costs around 130,000 won for 2 pax. Though is rather expensive but we think is worth it because the owner, Heung brought us to places where Yeha tour don't provide. The rooms were very clean, neat and tidy and we love the cosiness in the room. It feels like staying at home. As for location wise, it is not so easy to locate the place if you show Taxi driver in English. Nevertheless, i will still recommend this guesthouse to others who wish to have a cosy and affordable stay!
