We stayed 2 nights. Ken and Suzanne were such perfect hosts and gave great activity and meal suggestions. Beautiful, new and comfortable accommodations in a very scenic location, close to wonderful attractions. We'd return to this b&b in a heartbeat.
PROS: The suite is spacious and comfortable, and the location is close to some excellent hikes. CONS: The property does advertise "good cell service in town" - just be warned that this does not include the Lodge itself. We were unable to get cell service inside the suite between three different providers. There is no wifi. While this property is titled "Bed and Breakfast," the hosts made it very clear that they are not a restaurant, and only prepare one breakfast item per day (cost $15). Breakfast hours are limited. Very limited utensils/dishes in the suites. Be prepared to purchase food elsewhere for all of your meals. The hosts do expect you to clean quite thoroughly before leaving, and may penalize you if you don't. If you must stay here, we would recommend packing or purchasing cleaning supplies for your stay. Basics like paper towel and cleaning spray were not available in the suite. This was not what we expected for what we paid (price includes a cleaning fee). Overall, the hosts made us feel like an inconvenience, like we were intruding on their home, despite having paid more than $250/night to stay in their "Bed and Breakfast." Not a welcoming experience. I would not stay here again, and would never recommend it to family or friends.…
I stayed for three nights in the cabin & I loved it! Ken & Suzanne are so accommodating & made me feel at home right from the beginning. The cabin itself is beautiful & comfortable. There is a nice restaurant close by on the river, or it's a short drive into nearby Valemount. Stay here!
We would highly recommend staying in this beautiful B. and B. The owners are wonderfully welcoming and the guest accommodation is clean, comfortable and attractive. The views from the balcony are stunning.
