This place has been here for a very long time.. And they are updating a few things that need some attention. But with that being said the River Rooms are very clean, very cozy & very comfortable..And the lady’s in the office are very nice and will try to make your stay a pleasant one..

I'm looking around and wondering if they're reviewing the same place? Ok, I see 2 cats. Fortunately my dog didn't. And I see the freeway. That's a plus for me, I need to get on my way in the morning (and RV'ers are used to some road noise). What I see is a HUGE expanse of clean river, that my dog can swim in (oh, and me), lots of grass for paws, and a wonderful bar/grille with the best tri-tip I've had for $12 (with 2 sides). I came in on a Sunday evening, and the directions were friendly and simple "park anywhere behind the office, and come see us in the morning." Lots of folks at the river cuz it's friggin HOT out, but friendly, and considerate. I WILL make this my go to on my jaunts up California (that I take all the time). I don't know how I've missed this place! I've stayed few miles up for a few dollars less, and it was adequate but NOTHING like this place. I will be BACK!…

Unless you are looking for somewhere to live in Kings County. 90% of the spaces are occupied by folks living full time in their rv's. Office staff were nice & friendly. So we're the people living there. Most of the sites do not have sewer hookups. Don't no how that works? The noise from the freeway & the freight trains is Horrendous! The smell of cow manure in the morning is awefull! I could go on, but you get the point?

To be perfectly honest the price lured me away based on what I could see but based on what I did get for a reasonable price I think I might reconsider the next time. Be leery of transits everywhere in this area and look for walls around the place. I would say that is the number one thing to look for and it did have that so worth a star on that basis.

We wanted to find a good RV park near Clovis/Fresno area. They are hard to come by! Riverland RV Resort is easy access of the freeway. We had a grass pad that was level for our 40 foot class A RV. It is gated, so we felt secure. We enjoyed the pool and the shade from the trees. The Kings river was full and running strong. The walking path around the large pond was a good place to get some exercise.
