Cozy cabins and gracious hosts. St. Anna's House is located outside of King's Canyon National Park making for a convenient place to stay. The drive to and from the NP is absolutely beautiful especially at sunset. The hosts were generous and friendly and allowed us to check out late when we got the checkout time mixed up. The cabin we stayed at was spacious and clean with its own patio. Quiet, peaceful and two cute dogs living on the premise.
My boyfriend and I stayed here on our way to Kings Canyon. The friendly couple (Bogdan & Anna) that own this place took us in last minute & provided us with an option between a room or tent camping. We chose to go with the room and had a king size bed, mini fridge & coffee for the morning. The place is out in the country in a very charming farm-like setting. We went in the summer and had a very warm evening, sitting outside at the table and chairs in front of our room, watching a full moon come up over there horizon. It was a great stay, a quiet setting with warm hearted, accommodating hosts.
When we booked the property, we read all of the disclaimers (Covid is a major issue for all of us). Nowhere was it mentioned that the room would not be cleaned. Indeed, it was clearly written that guests could opt out from having their units cleaned if there were concerns about Covid. We were gone from 8 am until 6:30 pm. We were very surprised that our room had not been made up during that time. Our hosts should have explained to us about this policy. We have been in Carmel, King City, and Goleta during the pandemic, and never have we had a problem like this before. I guess there is always a first time.
