The owner was a lier. He told me we could go out for diving at night and it was a lie. Even he tried to excuse himself with a lot of lies he tried to charge me the same price when diving at night is more expensive. He was aggressive, anointing and meaning person to me. We couldn't see almost any shark when all the others shops came back with beautiful pictures of sharks and rays. The owner doesn't have boat. He is renting one and he depends of it. Stay away from there. Go around the corner to another shop is much better and trustable.

Kuday es un tipo excelente,siempre disponible y con muchísima paciencia hay otra escuela en la isla más saturada de gente, hice un bautismo del buceo con él y fue súper serio y profesional primero estuvimos practicando en un banco de arena y luego fuimos a una zona preciosa lo recomiendo al 100% lleva muchos años dedicado a esto y tiene el mejor precio de la isla

Hice un bautizo de buceo con ellos y fueron encantadores. Muy pacientes, me llevaron a un sitio chulisimo, con mucha vuda.La visibilidad era muy buena.muy bien de precio. Me regalaron los vídeos. Fue muy divertido.

Scuba Dive is a diverse business located on Guraidhoo island of South Malé Atoll. They are also travel agency and offer accommodation as well. I have booked my stay with them on Air bnb, where i got really good deal. I were arriving to Guraidhoo from the northern atoll, but i got very good instructions on how to reach the island from Ahmed, the owner. How to get there: The boat for Guraidhoo leaves from Villingili ferry terminal, and the local boat is leaving many times per day (every half an hour in peak hours). The fee was 22 Ruffiya for one way ride. The ride takes over an hour and the boat stops first at Gulhi, later at Maafushi, before arriving to Guraidhoo, what is the final destination of the boat. There is also a speed boat between Guraidhoo and Male and/or the international airport on Hulhumale. The speed boat goes two or three times per day and costs $20 for Male - Guraidhoo (one way), or $25 for Guraidhoo - international airport. When i arrived, my guide Kuday was waiting for me. Explained to me situation with accommodation (i was replaced to the new hotel just few meters away). The hotel was really good and i were happy about the change - even thou i have never seen the place where i have booked originally. I were offered the free boat ride with divers next morning, just for seeing how it´s done. Even with knowing nothing about diving, i could see how they handled everything very professionally. The people for diving were experienced divers, they knew what to do and how, and Salaam, the company´s dive master, had explained the specifics of the upcoming dive. Obviously, he was diving on that spot many times before. I had been on the boat ride with them few times, and everyone from the company seemed to know the underwater terrain very well. There is always a boat captain and a sailor on the boat, to help with the heavy diving equipment and to ensure the safety of the sail and of the position of the boat for the dive. I have tried to snorkel with the boat captain, but i couldn't do it. I did not know i will freak out to see how deep the ocean was beneath me. So my snorkeling was not longer than a minute. We all had a good laugh about it, and i had just swim. This company is not big, but that was the greatest advantage. We became friends very soon with my guide Kuday and with Salaam, even thoug i did not dive. And i also made friends with fellow divers who were staying at the same hotel as me. If you are in Maldives for diving, and you don't want to go far from the capital, come to Guraidhoo and dive with Scuba Dive. You would be searching very long to find greater dive experts. Or you will end up like me, regretting you have not tried to learn how to dive. I feel like i have to come back again, and be more brave. I have never met in person with Ahmed, the owner, but he had handled my refund without any delay (because i had to pay the new hotel directly). I needed some time to find out how refunds work on the site where i booked, once i did my part, i promptly had my money refunded to my credit card. If i will ever be again in Maldives, i will for sure come to great guys of Scuba Dive to learn to snorkel and to try diving. And i recommend to everyone to do the same.
