I apologize for my delay in responding to your question. There are taxis available in Eugene. Our complimentary shuttle service is available on request and a favorite amenity. Our team knows the campus well and glad to answer questions about the UO. Many of them are attending currently or have graduated from UO.
We added a third pane of glass to our rooms that face 5th street. This helped immensely with train noise. I recommend our balcony king guestrooms as our quietest rooms. They are on the south side of the building and offer a private balcony which is a great feature to enjoy.

The hotel has valet parking if i remember right is $15 or 17 a day- no in out charges.But the Hotel is in a unique market and I am pretty sure you can park it for no fee.
Amtrak is almost walking distance per the map, but you may prefer the luxurious Mercedes shuttle car that is supplied free of charge (well 5 dollar tip for me). Do set a time for its use ahead of time to assure it's availability when you need it.

We are located in the 5th Street Public Market where there is an assortment of dining options from sandwiches to sushi. In addition, there are several dining options within a 5 block radius of the hotel that offer a variety of styles of food.
