I'm sorry this happened to you and even worse this happened when you were traveling with your grand kids in mid of the winter season. I stayed here several times and nothing of that sort happened. So it's not a place where such incident happens frequently, it has happened to you and it's an unfortunate one, however such rare incidents in this property should not dictate your decision to stay here in the future. Even if you have paid for your parking in any other hotel, hotels don't take responsibility of such incidents. If you could have requested to stay back in the hotel for couple of hours until you have mechanic to change the glass n vaccine the glass pieces, I'm sure the hotel would have gladly accepted your request at no extra cost. The staffs are very human and courteous to help the guests at double tree.
