Stayed her for a weekend to meet up with some friends who were staying at the Greenbrier for a conference. Fantastic apartment. Much more spacious than I expected-room 101. Seemed newly renovated. The kitchenette was well stocked, bed was comfy. There is a restaurant right downstairs. Some have mentioned hearing noises from it, but we did not. I would highly recommend this inn if you are staying in the area.
My husband and I stayed here over Father's Day weekend to attend the 2nd annual WV Rennaisance Festival. Our room 104 was newly renovated, spacious, clean and comfortable. I was contacted earlier on the the day of our arrival to let me know that check-in was done through the restaurant/bar and parking was on the side off the street. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the Inn was in the middle of a menu change so some items were not available, but the Margarita pizza and specialty drinks at the bar were excellent. It is an older building so noise from the street, bar and other apartments is to be expected. This did not make our stay any less enjoyable. We will definitely be staying next year.
Unfortunately Room 102 is directly on top of restaurant and you can hear everything as if you were sitting at the bar until late at night. My son and I picked this room because it had a bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed...the floor is more comfortable than the mattress on the pull out, absolutely atrocious, linens on the beds the same. The bathroom is so small, not even a place to set a few toiletries for an overnight stay. We expected the kitchenette to have a few basics, it does not. Only positive here was the lady who checked us in was very nice. Will never stay here again.
