This is one of the best campsites for 'proper' camping that I have been to. It is a really pretty place and the pitches are not only spacious but well spaced out, with no cars near them. The facilities in the campers' barn are clean and the showers were great. We cooked on the fire every night and enjoyed using the grass area for family games. The family running the site are really friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning.

It's a striking tipi which you can see from the road on the way in. There is a fire pit inside the tipi which makes quite a difference and the whole thing is lit by fairy lights inside. There is a fire pit outside too, for pre/post dinner.
Walking up to the venue, there is a tantalising smell of wood fire and there was a friendly welcome.
The service was delightful - really helpful, friendly and clearly a family business with everyone helping. The food was good home cooking, the chicken skewers were nice although could have done with some additional flavour such as tzatziki perhaps (this is not a criticism - just feedback). The food was well cooked and nicely put together..
A1 service, good food and very nice environment. Definitely on our re-visit list.

We visited today after a Facebook recommendation from school farm cottages. We came for a early Sunday brunch. The tipi is spacious, decorated beautifully. Blankets are supplied to keep you warm. The food was delicious. The staff are lovely and friendly.

We have been here a few times and the food is always super and not expensive. Last night it was an Indian feast with guest chef from Noble Prawn… it was windy so we were in the barn not the tipi but the atmosphere was great and the food sublime… we have been here for breakfast also which is great value and top quality …. Will be back for game night in October … fabulous

I can not fault the 3 course meal we have experienced at the fire and feast this evening. Wonderful halloumi starter, fabulous pork and great selection of desserts. All this and such lovely people and great ambience in their fabulous tipi with wood fire. Such a lovely summer evening experience. We will be back!
