Best hotel I’ve stayed in abroad!!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Absolutely spotless, beautiful scenery, friendly atmosphere, extremely helpful staff and the perfect location. On arrival, we were so welcomed when checking in. The staff went above and beyond for our stay, upgrading us to the most fabulous villa on the hotel grounds. The room service and housekeeping team and the maintenance guys were exceptional!!! The pool area was such a calm & chill atmosphere! You’d spend the day there, so much seats and beddings with a lovely bar menu to choose from! The hotel beach, was just beautiful. Pleanty of space and the use of water boards with paddles to go out into the sea was so much fun!! Again the scenery was amazing! Breakfast was great - a huge variety and the coffee was nice too. The pool bar menu was lovely aswell and had a good variety to choose from all at a reasonable price! As for location! I thought it was ideal. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that brings you directly to Corfu old town for only €1.50 and it’s about a 15 minute drive (not even!) it also goes the opposite direction to a lovely little town called Benesis only about 5 minutes away. Lovely beach, shops and restaurants there too! Buses are really frequent too. On check out we asked could we leave our bags at the hotel for the day as our flight home was late that night. Of course that was no problem, however, I was shocked to be offered a complimentary room for 30 minutes before we headed to the airport to recharge, shower and rest. Aswell as full use of the hotels amenities for the day. I thought this was a great idea as usually with some hotels once your checked out your not there problem. I stayed here with my partner ( both in our 20s) it’s been one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in abroad, beyond relaxing and felt very safe! I couldnt recommend this hotel more, I will definitely be back in the future and I can’t wait! Thanks again to all the staff who made our stay so special! …

The fabulous Ray Hotel, Perama Corfu.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were spotless, we had a room with sea view, absolutely stunning. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff if you needed anything. The cleaners popped in every morning and made the beds and left clean towels in the bathroom. The dining hall was fab, the selection of food in the morning was unbelievable, and dinner service was fab. Something different everyday. The waitresses were lovely and friendly, and enjoyed chatting with you. The pool area and bar was fab as well, I'm running out of words because I fell in love with the place. It's an absolute paradise with gorgeous views. Even the planes that go past every 15 minutes , ( on the main flight path) was great to watch. When we were on the coach traveling from Corfu airport, we thought we had been sold a dud holiday, some of the surrounding were abit rundown. Pleasant surprise when we were dropped off. I absolutely recommend this lovely hotel. We will return. Hopefully have same room. 103. The Freshney's .…

Truly a Ray of sunshine!

Beautiful! Has to be one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at too. From the moment of checkin all of the staff from reception, cleaners, breakfast to bar staff and even the gardener are so approachable and helpful, can’t do enough for you. We stayed in 408 sea view room and waking up to the sunrise across the Straits of Corfu every morning was perfect. The room is a good size (as how much time do you really spend in there!) with a good balcony- table and 2 chairs & bathroom with shower. There’s a hairdryer, small fridge and coffee machine in the room and good AC. The most comfortable kingsize bed (I slept like a log!) plus one big comfy armchair and a large TV, which you can cast to, so Netflix or any other apps do work. Decent wardrobe storage and a free safe in the room. There’s the main pool, so many sun-beds and umbrellas and Bali beds so we never had a problem getting one or moving around for the sun, plus a small infinity pool to side of hotel and a sea deck with beds and umbrellas (although it’s down a lot of stairs so be mindful when you have to come back up!) where you can use the paddle boards that are available, truly tranquil there! I read a few comments about the service at the pool bar being slow or food being cold - didn’t experience any of that! We only stayed B&B but did have a few lunches around the pool and it always came within about 10-15 mins and was delicious & huge portions too so recommend just to share. Has s couple of drinks on way out too, all good. We charged to the room and just paid on checkout, so easy. Breakfast choice was vast - we were always down early around 7.45/8.00am so lots of choice and everything was super hot. So much choice so never missed the 🥓 😂. Location wise, there’s a great Taverna across the road with amazing food, a grill house and supermarket next door and the bus stops to go north (Corfu Town around 25 mins €1.50) or south to Benitses (€1.10 with some great restaurants and the little beach). You can walk down to the bridge to watch the planes go over in about 20 mins but pass about 3 good tavernas on the way so it’s great to stop for few drinks and for getting around. We also walked back down to hotel from Achillion Palace which was beautiful and only took 40 mins. Some might be bothered by the planes coming and going but literally after the first day I really didn’t notice them and it was quite interesting seeing the different airlines and number of private jets! I literally could go on and on …Ray hotel you have something special here so I hope it doesn’t change (but please get a bigger toaster lol!) and we’ll definitely be back! 🥰…

Great Hotel!

We came here for a summer holiday and it was a lovely hotel! We got a free upgrade which was a bonus when we arrived and the room was amazing! Both pools are very clean and the staff were all great. The day beds at the pool were so lovely, and no charge which is even better. The hotel isn't close to Corfu town but there is a bus that goes there which is very cheap from outside the hotel. One thing I would say is there was only one mirror in the room and that was in the bathroom. It would be much easier having full length mirrors to use when getting ready. Other than that, we loved our break here and would return!

Fabulous villa with private pool

We arrived at the hotel at 3.30am tired and exhausted. The reception staff was very attentive and quickly checked us in. We booked a pool view room for 3 people but we’re given a 2 person bedroom bungalow, which was beautiful but where would the third person sleep. When enquired and made them aware the room type was not what we booked he quickly sorted it out and within 10 minutes we were given a private villa with king size bed and sofa bed, the villa came with private pool, deck chairs and tables. It was absolutely fabulous. Throughout the stay all the staff have been very kind, attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A quick feedback on couple of improvements would be there are two cats within the hotel all though they were not near any food area it really bothered us as we all have a phobia of pets. We were always looking around for them. We spotted the cats within minutes of arrival to the hotel and was petrified the next day. I know it’s silly for some but we have a genuine fear. Secondly there was no room service available. As not many restaurants in the local area some nights we just wanted to order in and not many takeaway options in the local area. If they had room service even up until 1am that would have made a big difference. The hotel foot from pool bar was really delicious and classy. All the items were good restaurant quality. Just to add cleaners are fab too and go the extra mile. Overall really enjoyable stay the views are to die for from beach area and villa itself made our whole holiday perfect.…
