Marmar Hotel is one of the good hotels in Hamadan, its good for family, friends, and couple rooms are big, service is good, price is also good. location of hotel is good and from there you can go to any part of city easily.
This hotel in a fairly modern building had renovations when I were there but in spite of that I was welcome by the friendly Owner/Manager and I was given a good room at a reasonable rate. What makes this hotel special is its convenient location to the central square and historic places i.e. Esther and Mordechai mausaleum. Another plus is the restaurant in the hotel where traditional Iranian food is served. One negative aspect was that my room had no windows but admittedly it had a very efficient aircon.
i do not mind a bad hotel, as long as it is cheap. unfortunately, marmar hotel in hamedan is really overpriced and the staff is not able to compensate this with friendliness. they were merely grunting at us, as if it was a burden to do the check in. the rooms are very simple and shabby, not worth the amount of money we paid. no wifi in the rooms. breakfast was standard persian, but without egg or cucumber. you can survive a night at this place, but that's it.
it is a nice hotel for short stay ,it was cheap option and clean hot water ,friendly people avarage breakfast but walking distance to main attraction in hamadan I recomend you if you need short stay and cheap hotel
Room without windows, hard bed, uninviting toilet and shower, an airconditioning that I managed to turn off by locating the fuse box in the corrdor, unfriendly staff. Positive - quiet and not too far from city centre. Frankly, I would avoid the place at all costs - go to a different town, perhaps!
